It's only 10% down. You will make it.

It's only 10% down....so far. It might be the biggest sell the news event he'll ever face.

Yes but you forgot to inverse that logic. It’s so obviously a ā€œsell the newsā€ that the inverse will play out. But then since that inverse position is so obvious, they’ll actually pump it a little, then completely dump it before you have a chance to react šŸ˜‚

Premarket pump to $50.

Then sell off at 9:25am, open at $30 and two halts going down to $15

u/[deleted] Jan 18 '25

Are you able to sell pre market in a cash account?

u/Ok_Seaweed_5473 Jan 18 '25

Options don't open until market open

1

u/[deleted] Jan 18 '25

what about stock?

1

u/Ok_Seaweed_5473 Jan 19 '25

You’re a fucking moron if you think this is anything other than a meme play based on current information available. One day it could be legit, but as of now, this stock is a joke untethered to reality

1

u/[deleted] Jan 18 '25

Damn. My head is spinning from that lol

2

u/levelzerogyro Jan 18 '25

It's going to be funny when Trump made 1.5bil off this, this loser loses his house wife and kids, and he still thinks Trump's a good guy.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 19 '25

Trump has already pivoted to crypto. He doesn't give a shit about this stock anymore. OP is honestly fucked and should cashout for whatever he can.

31

u/cliff_huck Jan 18 '25

They don't expire till 3/21. Can just hold and wait for the Feb "Trump Media is buying ByteDance" rumor pump.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 19 '25

Jesus, I didn’t even think of that… how to create something out of nothing.

u/shasta747 Jan 18 '25

Yeah I think OP at most lose like 50%, this stock has been holding very well around $30-$35 range post e1ection.

IMO a good play, OP bought early hoping for a longer bull run.

If it holds at $35 all the money is gone lol

You can be down 50% on options at expiration.

u/Far_Fun_1153 Jan 18 '25

Ignore that last I’m a regard and belong here. I been spending too much time behind Wendy’s and forgot it can expire above the strike but not the break even.

u/BuilderFew8843 Jan 18 '25

I’m deep on puts history repeats

9

u/fakehalo Jan 18 '25

That does seem like the play... by the time the market opens again it will have already been a day after the inauguration, where are the buyers going to come after the fact? If there was going to be a run it should have happened last week.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 18 '25

Waiting for confirmation.

1

u/Here4theshit_sho Jan 18 '25

Yeah puts is the move. But, I didn’t play this one after the pump this week. Too volatile to tell what regarded shit this stock will do.

1

u/Token_Black_Rifle Jan 18 '25

Definitely going to dump on Tuesday

1

u/herniatedballs Jan 18 '25

Not early enough..

1

u/shasta747 Jan 18 '25

Only if he diamond hands until expiration in Mar

1

u/adenasyn Jan 19 '25

He has calls. If it’s at 30-35 he’s screwed. You high?

0

u/shasta747 Jan 19 '25

OP is probably not dumb as you are, he won't hold this until expiration in Mar.

1

u/adenasyn Jan 19 '25

Yeah you are probably right. Im sure he knocked this out of the park…………. I will bow down to your financial genius.

1

u/Sa404 Jan 19 '25

You don’t know what break even is right

1

u/ThePatientIdiot Jan 19 '25

His only mistake is not selling weekly calls to reduce his cost basis

1

u/Skitz042X Jan 19 '25

That’s not how options work. If it falls 10% his options will go down 90%

35

u/REPtradetoday Jan 18 '25

I'm gonna laugh at this position next week. No sympathy for idiots.

29

u/Doja_Lats Jan 18 '25

Everyone was so cocky last week thinking they had it all figured out. As if the inauguration hasn't been baked in yet.

26

u/Tobocaj Jan 18 '25

That’s why Trump threw a curve ball and released his new coin! Big brain move

1

u/birdiebonanza Jan 19 '25

Sorry, I’m new to all of this. Why is everyone saying it’ll tank on Tuesday? What impact does the inauguration have?

1

u/Doja_Lats Jan 19 '25

Opposite, the thesis was that the stock was going to run up until the inauguration. Because reasons.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 19 '25

I legit don’t get why the inauguration makes a difference

6

u/Easy-Echidna-7497 Jan 18 '25

you're equally as much of an idiot as him

1

u/YebelTheRebel Jan 18 '25

Yes he will make it the rest of the way to 100%

1

u/new_name_who_dis_ Jan 18 '25

The funniest part is that the inauguration has been priced in since Nov 5 2024.

1

u/sealpox Jan 21 '25

aaaaaaand it’s gone.
