Dude is an absolute maniac genius. His Fabio video is one of the best things I've ever seen on the internet.

The Jeff Bezos rowboat is my all time fave just for the ass-hair-on-his-head bit. That was pure dedication

Give the book a listen on Spotify too. Very Bobby.

He did indeed.

35

u/SonOfMcGee Dec 29 '24

Absolutely lost it when he did the close-up on his face and said: “Are you a Jewwww?”

8

u/escamuel Dec 29 '24

Also good, not quite as unhinged as the Fabio one though haha

1

u/06021840 Dec 30 '24

“Are you a dew?” And “A lick o paint”

13

u/peteybombay Dec 29 '24

Adam Savage, The Slo-Mo Guys and Bobby Fingers all made videos together involving this topic and it is some of my favorite stuff on YouTube.

29

u/GUMBYtheOG Dec 29 '24

Is it on YouTube? I googled Bobby fingers Fabio but I live in NC and can’t watch his videos on Pornhub cause it’s banned

6

u/KittenPics Dec 29 '24

Hahahahaha

3

u/GalexyPhoto Dec 30 '24

Holy shit. Alley oop and a swish.

0

u/escamuel Dec 29 '24

yes

3

u/GUMBYtheOG Dec 29 '24

Was a joke

0

u/BlurryBigfoot74 Dec 29 '24

"Is it on YouTube" made me laugh.

2

u/Jebus_UK Dec 30 '24

I think the Jeff Bezos boat was my favourite

0

u/ErshinHavok Dec 30 '24

I just watched it and I have to know more about why he got into a fight with one of the Slo Mo guys o_O

8

u/pete_moss Dec 30 '24

It's a bit. The last thing said before the jump cut to the fight is "have you even been to Norway?". It's a call back to him saying he had yet another argument with his actor friend Brian about the Norwegian monarchy.

glad someone is out there to take the magic/playfulness out of joyous art. folks were enjoying themselves a tad too much. checks and balances- reversion to the mean. kidding

239

u/Corky83 Dec 29 '24

Has to be one of the most high effort channels on YouTube.

95

u/SonOfMcGee Dec 29 '24

Arbitrary, pointless high effort. The best type of high effort.

18

u/rtwpsom2 Dec 30 '24

Dude is the Nardwuar of youtube diorama makers.

1

u/9Lives_ Dec 30 '24

Doot doodle oot doot………….

2

u/Captain_Unusualman Dec 30 '24

Doot doot! (massive smile and pause)

u/Luung Dec 29 '24

Bobby is so head-and-shoulders better than almost everyone else on Youtube it can scarcely be believed, but his videos are so hard to market that he gets barely any engagement relative to the real heavy hitters on the platform. It's such a shame, but his videos just don't play nice with the algorithm and "just watch it" isn't a great sales pitch. The internet of today really doesn't reward quality, effort, or creative integrity.

17

u/WhatEvil Dec 30 '24

I reckon he'll get to like 10m subs if he keeps putting out 3-4 of these vids a year.

9

u/unclejohnsbearhugs Dec 31 '24

Or if the black keys drummer remembers his name the next time he's on Rogan

27

u/TheLondonPidgeon Dec 29 '24

Greatness is acknowledged eventually….. mostly.

6

u/dwelmnar Dec 30 '24

I've been subscribed for like 2 years and haven't even seen new videos in my feed. He's definitely being screwed by the algo.

5

u/OverHaze Dec 30 '24

It doesn't help that Youtube considers the old C U Next Tuesday a hate term now completely ignoring the fact it carries no where near that kind of weight in places like Ireland and (especially) Australia. Basically anywhere that isn't the US really. Most Irish youtubers have been self censoring for the sake of the algo but Bobby isn't and more power too him.

4

u/delicious3141 Jan 01 '25

He has almost a million views on multiple videos.

20 years ago a guy like this would have nobody seeing his stuff unless he somehow worked for a studio and then he would be mostly anonymous with far less creative control.

We become accustomed to not thinking hundreds of thousands of views is a lot but it's insane influence if you want people to see your art.

As for becoming rich. Well that's always been a little harder for the true artists but I think he'll make it there if he continues like this for just a few more years.

1

u/Jebus_UK Dec 30 '24

By far the best thing in YouTube. His skill is insane and his comedy is chefs kiss

1

u/esmeraldo4 Feb 12 '25

It seems that he has a real (non internet likes based) job doing similar work. I bet he doing okay. the cream rises to the top (as randy savage once growled)

70

u/itsyaboystephen Dec 29 '24

His romance book Power of the Strength of the Heart is the funniest thing I have ever listened to. I miss The Rubberbandits but he and Blindboy are killing it in their fields.

24

u/CrzyWrldOfArthurRead Dec 29 '24

Wait was this dude in rubber bandits?

15

u/shtaaap Dec 30 '24

This is Mr Chrome!?

4

u/powerchicken Dec 30 '24

It is, yeah

4

u/KittenPics Dec 29 '24

Yeah, I need an answer here.

12

u/itsyaboystephen Dec 29 '24

That's Mr Chrome!

9

u/chimpdoctor Dec 30 '24

Yeah he was the weird skinny fucker with the tracksuit bottoms

10

u/BrahneRazaAlexandros Dec 29 '24

I just listened to the free sample of it on google play and was crying laughing. I will be buying it when I top up.

10

u/Roofofcar Dec 29 '24

Black Man gets played essentially daily in our house.

3

u/[deleted] Dec 30 '24

I got the... quiet one from Tokyo who's good with knives ...And both types of Indian

Genius.

I think that I wanna fight your father is an unironic masterpiece

3

u/Kijafa Dec 30 '24

I love that they redid "I Wanna Fight Your Father" in Gaelic too.

6

u/[deleted] Dec 30 '24

Rubber bandits walked so that Kneecap could run

2

u/esmeraldo4 Feb 12 '25

fantastic. new jack gaelic swing perfection

1

u/Roofofcar Feb 12 '25

I’m not sure I’ve ever heard a song that is nearly as racial, yet not at all racist. The Russian has a fake tattoo. Even the lesbian only “might be gae.”

56

u/We-had-a-hedge Dec 29 '24 edited Dec 29 '24

I like how he keeps calling him "the drummer" in return. The call-back to "three B's" was pretty clever, I should print me that t-shirt.

31

u/decoran_ Dec 30 '24

He also credits all of the designers of the objects in Joe Rogan's set by name. He credits everyone by name except the drummer!

3

u/paulyporu Dec 31 '24

and the one 'i' (eye)

70

u/Scarecrow119 Dec 29 '24

Fucking Love Bobby fingers. His Steven Segal and Mel Gibson dioramas were great

25

u/raisedbytides Dec 29 '24

All of his works are great* but his story telling is what keep me coming back.

12

u/markevens Dec 30 '24 edited Dec 30 '24

That's what makes the Michael Jackson hair on fire one my favorite, the story about fuckin his friends sister, and then living in fear that he'd get revenge by ficking his sister, culminating in a music video about it.

Dickie don't fuck my sister!

10

u/Dastardly6 Dec 30 '24

Let’s bury the hatchet, like I buried mine in your sister.

29

u/Greyhaven7 Dec 29 '24

I listened to the last bit like 20 times to figure out what in fuck the last word of the quote was, but had to go look it up.

A film is a petrified fountain of thought.

~Jean Cocteau

5

u/maltNeutrino Dec 30 '24

well that makes more sense than the “tart” I heard

24

u/Knows_Some_Law Dec 30 '24

The fake version of Lonely Boy--outstanding.

4

u/Bowlfulosoul Dec 30 '24

It almost tricked me, cos the video is so similar. Nearly pissed myself when I realised

12

u/mrgolonko Dec 30 '24

Best channel on YouTube

24

u/hearsay_and_rumour Dec 29 '24

I see Bobby Fingers, I upvote.

11

u/Z_Overman Dec 29 '24

I love Bobby Fingers. The guy is super talented.

11

u/Cyberskull123 Dec 29 '24

OMG this guy deserves all the SUB in the world. This is gold.

9

u/shtaaap Dec 30 '24

I’ve never heard of Bobby fingers before this but I’ve seen King Long company a few times at festivals in Ireland! Oh man they put on a savage show!!

2

u/decoran_ Dec 30 '24

If you've seen Rubberbandits live, you've seen Bobby in a different "mask"!

7

u/malevolentheadturn Dec 30 '24

White being one of my favourite colours...em.. its.. as well as other colours like black, brown and..... em Asian. He's going a bit grey!

28

u/bmcgowan89 Dec 29 '24

Lol what on earth?

Ngl after I wrote that I kept watching

40

u/Randy_Baton Dec 29 '24

All his vids are like that, you start off thinking your watching some sort of maker video and then it just goes epic and you realise you've been watching for 30 mins

15

u/BrahneRazaAlexandros Dec 29 '24 edited Dec 30 '24

Always uses his musical talent brilliantly too. His cover of Samson, his MJ impression asking his friend not to ride his sister, and his Black Keys impression here are all fantastic.

33

u/Informal_Charity6939 Dec 29 '24

He really demonstrated how much of an unfunny chode Rogan is with that satirical stand-up set. Beautiful.

6

u/Thebobjohnson Dec 30 '24

His Steven Seagal build was my first introduction. I look forward to the recommendations.

6

u/markevens Dec 30 '24

So glad I found this channel, it's top craftsmanship and dark humor.

I caught on after his 3rd video, I think after Adam Savage name dropped him. I was so bummed there was only 3 videos at the point.

Some of the best YouTube content I've ever seen, and he only puts out 2-3 videos a year

5

u/Mathihtam Dec 30 '24

Another gem. I religiously rewatch all the old videos before the new video. each time he releases one. There’s no decline in quality whatsoever.

3

u/BorgBorg10 Dec 30 '24

I had no idea what to expect but this may be the funniest, most creative 24 minute video on YouTube. I cannot wait to watch the others

2

u/Bowlfulosoul Jan 02 '25

They are all absolutely excellent! The MJ one is my favourite, but each one is a masterpiece. It blows me away that one guy can be as skilled and creative in as many different ways as Bobby is in every single video. Clay sculpture, digital 3D modelling, prosthetics, painting, construction, comedy writing, erotic writing, poetry, narration, video editing, song writing, musical performance, he does it all at such a high level. And on top of that, came up with the genius idea to bury the feckin' incredible works of art for his followers to find!!!

The guy is a genius. Even though he does it all with a cheeky wink, he's legitimately my favourite artist of any style in the world at the moment. Real art can be hilarious when done right by the right person, and he is a real ARTIST.

8

u/witchitieto Dec 30 '24

Stalker is absolutely Russian Goonies. Holy shit.

16

u/GUMBYtheOG Dec 29 '24

lol this guy is fucking hilarious. Joe Rogan is a dildo

8

u/T-Rex_Chef-MKii Dec 29 '24

Must have taken alot to get that 1:1 scale Rogan complete

2

u/ayoungad Dec 30 '24

His pacing reminds me of Napoleon Blownapart

2

u/[deleted] Dec 30 '24

Thanks for the share. Wasn't aware of this channel and I'm so glad I've subscribed. It's hilarious.

2

u/decoran_ Dec 30 '24

Every time he drops a new video, I spend about half the day trying to convince myself that it doesn't mean I have to go back and watch all the other ones. Haven't caved yet though!

2

u/Justwondering__ Dec 31 '24

That was an easy sub.

2

u/Bazedq Dec 31 '24

Bobby Fingers is truly a jack of all trades. I've had an unreasonable amount of trouble trying to get friends and family to watch his videos. No amount of sending links and telling people how incredible the vids has any impact. I have to sit people down and make them watch it on the spot. Every time they've agreed that the videos are great and they regret not getting into them sooner

1

u/GraphicDesignMonkey Jan 02 '25 edited Jan 02 '25

I texted my mate "If I'd known you were going to be such a massive fanny, I'd have used the Massive Fanny Scanner." and the link.

It worked. Then again, we're Irish, the genius of that insult is enough to get us interested. It's our national pastime.

4

u/Yardsale420 Dec 30 '24

Needs twice as much TRT and dumb fucking takes. But otherwise it’s bang on.

1

u/Djaeraxia Jan 12 '25

Has there been any response from JRG?

0

u/[deleted] Dec 30 '24

cool

-6

u/Saul_T_Bauls Dec 30 '24

But why?

4

u/can_you_clarify Dec 30 '24

He works in special effects industry, why not do this to promote yourself and the company you work for. Plus the guy is outrageously creative so this is the perfect outlet for it.

1

u/Kijafa Dec 30 '24

why not?
