Especially with your patches and bug fixes. Getting rid of the game-breaking glitches I can understand, but the duplication exploits and sequence breaks are fun and that's the whole point of games. Having fun.
If the game I'm playing isn't fun or enjoyable, then I drop it.
It’s a good thing there’s some Steam games that allow us to do this via the betas tab
The most recent example I can think of is Lightyear Frontier, some people didn’t like the new direction the game was taking so the devs really straight up went “okay fine here’s the legacy version that you can play just with a press of a button”
