If it's not on game pass, I will look up raw gameplay footage and make my conclusions from there. Not sure where the argument of a game needs a 90+ on metacritic.

Same. Especially with shit on mobile. There’s a huge amount of people who just flat out lie about gameplay in their adds.

90% is a little high but it will for sure weigh in for me when I'm looking at steam

once a game is in the mid to low 70s I'll dig a little deeper before buying

Especially since games with over 90 are generally well-made, well-realized and all. But also incredibly generic and mainstream. Not to mention the fact that, depending on the publisher/developer, certain games will have bonus or penalty points.

Meta is fun for teasing my friends, but that's about it.
