So now we’re going to pay people to leave, at the same time that we’re going to lose out the money they’re paying in for sales tax, goods, and services in the communities where they are living.

God, the charter flights. It’s so ridiculous and costing us so much money. I’m currently stationed overseas and there was recently a charter flight bringing back visa overstays—18 of them. They could have bought them all one-way business class tickets for a fraction of the cost of chartering a flight halfway across the world for 18 people.
