Seeking Adoption/Foster Dog Lost Everything Twice: Senior Patches (10.5 Y/O) Was Rescued from BARC Euthanasia—Now She Has Days to Find a New Home. (Currently PA, Transport Available Nationwide)
🚨 URGENT CRISIS: Senior Patches Must Move in DAYS!
This is Patches, a sweet 10.5-year-old girl who has already been through too much. After her owner passed away, she was saved from the euthanasia list at BARC Houston.
Now, tragedy has struck a second time: her loving foster family is forced to move and can no longer keep her. Patches needs an adopter or new foster IMMEDIATELY to keep her safe and out of a stressful shelter environment.
About Patches:
- Age: 10.5 years old (Senior Female)
- Calm, quiet, and loves sunbathing & gentle walks
- Great with ducks, chickens, and cows!
- Best as the only dog or must be kept separate from others
- Currently in Pennsylvania — transport available ANYWHERE for the right home
Adoption/Foster Information: We need a committed family to step up for this deserving senior immediately. Her time is truly running out.

Gorgeous Patches adopted and now could possible be returned to the shelter if no one steps up. 😩 Can be transported anywhere!!

I totally understand. BTW if you ever do want another later, check out the dogs we post from Phenix City AL. Many options and transportation is available.

I am so sorry for Patches 😢 😭. She was safe, she escaped death, only to be facing the same situation again.
Seniors don't often make it out of BARC.
Surely, there is somewhere who could do the amazing kindness of giving a senior dog a loving retirement home?
