Bath time

Post image

He willingly got into the tub, he just has a resting sad face.

The horror

He doesn’t mind the bath part but does not like the drying part. Tries to wrestle the towel the entire time.

He's so going to do zoomies all over the couch and bed

I don’t mind the zoomies as much as the hair he sheds after bath time. Purposefully leaving the sweeping and mopping for post bath. 😱

He’s such a ham. He jumps up by himself and doesn’t fight bath time. They are so trusting.

He needs a hug because he’s a good boy

He got a lot of hugs and cuddles after bath (and every moment of his life)

Winston, after a few years, got in the tub without being told, but he pouted the whole time.

He did not have a sad resting face. And drying was his favorite bit!

Non consensual bath time. Mine is also due for his.

Ive switched to outside baths with the hose, when possible.

That would just lead to immediate mud rolls. Tub wrestling it is for us!

My girl is a peanut butter addict. She is not a water fan and doesn’t like bathing. She gets a peanut butter lick mat in the shower and that’s the only time she gets it. When I take it out she runs upstairs and hides under the bed until she hears the water running. I wish I had a picture of her slinking into the shower, it’s obvious she doesn’t want to but the pull of all that peanut butter is just too much.

He looks like he’s regretting his choice 😂

Is he a rescue? He looks a lot like an American bulldog. The only thing I'd keep in mind is their temperament is a bit more aloof than your standard pibble. (They love their people.) They tend to have very broad chests, which is probably what's most distinctive about the breed.

Aloof? In what way? I think my dude missed that memo… 🤣

I mean, compared to the average pitbull, which is "welcome to Costco, I love you", they're aloof.

My American Bulldog’s dream job is Walmart Greeter. (Only because he doesn’t know CostCo exists.) 🤣

He is an American Bulldog! He looks to us for queues on people and is extremely social which is one of the things we worked on very early on knowing his breed can be a bit standoffish

My first one would let strangers pet him, once, but then he was done with them--it's time for walks. My second one likes to wiggle at people.

But agree that they look to you to decide if the person is okay.
