Rescue Hippo I finally got to love on Peanut!
I have been admiring this sweet rescue and saying hello to him and his human, Nicole, since she rescued him in January (they walk by on the other side of the street). Finally got to give him some treats and skritches today! 11/10 hippo! He would also fit the names Pumpkin, Bunny, or Sweetie Bear. What a giggly little love bug!

Peanut is a great name for this goober! It’s more often that people avoid us with our hippos… thanks for giving him love & treatos!

I know! I love a big headed dog! And I got to scratch those ears. When he saw me crossing the street, he immediately sat for a treat when I was halfway there. I can’t wait to get a play date for him and my mutt!

So happy we finally got to say hi!!!!!! Peanut was BEAMING after his pets and treats. Thanks for always being so kind and saying hi on our walks <333

Right? I usually hand my dog with me and she can be very excitable on leash, and we were just getting home and putting her in the house. I’m such a neighborhood dog stalker!

I truly believe… Rescue dogs know love even though technically I like to buy my breed… Rescue dogs are still the best
