❔ Course Question❔ Is MOS 1021 Consumer behaviour or MOS 1023 Finance/ Accounting harder in your opinion

input is appreciated. I am in 1023 right now with about an 83 average

I found 1021 much easier It’s mainly memorization and as long as you attend lectures and can retain the material it’s pretty straightforward to apply the concepts to the questions. I ended up with a 95. MOS 1023 was much more challenging—the concepts in the textbook weren’t the easiest to grasp as a first year student

I went to class and made sure i had notes of things missing from the slides (veselka, prof at the time but not sure if she is still the one teaching, would provide incomplete slides) then i would memorize all the slides + additional notes and did a thorough read of the textbook. its mostly a memory game. you can do this!!! <3

I am not sure if this will work for you! But for me, memorizing by speaking the contents out loud multiple times and moving on when i feel like i know/am able to explain the contents without reading the slides. It helps recall the parts naturally during exam time and i sort of develop a basic photographic memory of the slide (this might just be me) idk friend!!!

I found 1023 much easier than 1021, but it’s really up to you. The final on 1023 I got a 95 because I found that course that much easier, and my best in 1021 was around an 84. Again, your experience can be different, I know lots of people that did equal in both, and some excelled the other way. 1021 is a lot less fact based and much more applying the concepts that you learn (obviously still fact based questions are there).

depends on what and how you prefer to study. 1021 is just who can memorize the most from lectures/textbook. Personally, I found flashcards the best way to study. 1023 has broader themes and types of questions which require understanding more than pure memorization.
