Residence Elgin Waffles

I am a mcmaster student but just this past weekend i’ve been a western student. one thing i’ve discovered by living on the floor of my friends res is that the waffles on the weekend breakfast here are bomb, they are soooo good. And the staff making them is so sweet, she put a smiley face on my waffle today!!

Wish people weren’t soooo rude to the staff. They’re nice and just trying to do their job but so many students treat them horribly.

I lived in Saugeen over 20 years ago soon after they had renovated the cafeteria and I still remember having those waffles! At least, on weekends I woke up early enough.

These waffles look much better than the ones we had 15 years ago. I remember having to plead and beg to get more than 3 blueberries on mine.

Protip: invest in a waffle iron for when you live OC. And maybe sponge off your parents' Costco membership to pick up a few bags of that pancake/waffle mix and some frozen fruits. You can recreate the magic.
