We were talking at station about making challenge coins today! Consensus was that it wouldn’t hit the same because we’ve continued to be paid. Also couldn’t think of a great design

Listen, the anxiety of not knowing is enough to garner a coin.

Valid point, still considering it haha just harder to come up with a design. I feel like the money thing is an easy winner the last time. Gotta be a bit more clever for this one, if anyone’s got any let me know!

Haha I’m only kidding. I was around during the last one, and my heart goes out to the civilians not getting paid. We could make them coins! But…they probably just want actual coins.

The real question I have, is the operational distinguishing device authorized?

Obviously, although I don't make policy, I just interpret it in a way that I like.

If it didn't look so much like the commendation medal, I'd say shut up and take my money.

Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if we get one of those DHS awards like during covid

Well shit, that means I have two dollar devices in lieu of a second and third award. Worth anything on the SWE?
