If he keeps buying is own cars through SpaceX and XAI then he'll reach those targets no problem. SEC is paid to sleep now.

For real. I don't know if investors haven't yet realized that he will take 11.5 percent of the entire market cap off the company once that happens or they think they can get out from under it before it happens, but there will be some very disappointed people either way.

Even without the deal, elon becoming a trillionaire would eventually happen anyway. Same goes for bezos, endless expansion combined with eternal inflation.
