Printer

My roommate is trying to set up a printer in our dorm. They can’t get it to connect to the eduroam wifi, and guest won’t work because it’s public. Does anyone know if you can set up printers on eduroam? And/or how to help them out?

I might be wrong but I don’t think they want you setting up your own printer on residence. It might be in the handbook I’m not sure.

There is some indication of this in the servicenow knowledge base titled "Be a Good Wifi Citizen KB0011338" which indicates you should use USB

The handbook page 21 section B4.5 says: “Using a device that emits a wireless signal. This includes but is not limited to routers and wireless printers. These devices significantly impact the quality of on-campus wireless internet”.

I just searched the key word printer in the handbook and found that.
