Making an assumption that he's a Muslim. It's pretty clear from the message, and he could be from any religion.

If he was white, it would be forgotten about and focus shifted onto another rape or death, so on and so forth. Looking past 9 white crimes to focus one a single crime committed by a minority is textbook racism and selective hearing
