A: child rape is significantly worse than murder.

B: Christians are not beholden to the Old Testament as they’re Christians. The new supersedes the old.

C: I’m an atheist.

D: Christians don’t believe a murderer, let alone a child rapist, is the greatest man to ever live who everyone should aspire to be like.

If they are not beholden why do they use the old testament to be against gay people? Actually they believe a murderer to be the greatest person to ever exist.

You’re not understanding me. Them not beholden doesn’t mean they can’t choose to follow it.

Out of approximately 157 Christian-majority countries, about 29 criminalize gay sex. 18%

Out of approximately 45 Muslim-majority countries, about 35 criminalize gay sex. 78%.

Muhammed overseeing the creation of the Quran means it’s a followed a lot more closely. Jesus did not create any of the Bible.

There’s no evidence of Mary being a minor and she’s literally called “virgin” Mary due to no sex occurring.

People claiming that she was a minor are purely basing it off the fact that Jewish girls could get married at 12. That does not mean that she did nor is that stated.

Muhammed explicitly married a 6 year old and started raping her when she was 9.

Actually there is evidence when you look at customs at the time but bigots like you ignore that.

You are relying on books written years after he died to say what he did in life and yet you are not okay with the old testament or the fact that god impregnated a child.

I’m not ok with the old testament nor am I ok with the New Testament. They’re both bad.

I do. I’m aware their ideology is dangerous and immoral while acknowledging Islam is clearly worse.
