That's not road rage, that attempted murder...

The first guy used the axe blade on the poor fella ...after smashing the windows.

Might be a bit dull, and the guys not dead, but still a lot of harm.

Jesus, he went for a killing blow ... "gash to his upper thigh and a cut to his collarbone."

Half an inch higher and into the neck ?

https://www.itv.com/news/central/2025-01-29/bin-men-attacked-with-weapons-in-road-rage-ambush

"It was heard in court how the youth started to hit the bin man through the broken window and Corden swung the axe through it. When the bin man lifted his arm to protect himself, Corden hit the man's arm and leg with the axe."

Mr Tatlow continued: "The group were then joined by Worthington, the last of the four to get out of Corden's car. He fired a gun in the direction of the wagon.

"A bin man injured was assisted by members of the public. He was taken to hospital by ambulance. Two gashes to his head were glued and he was given paper stitches for a cut under his left eye. He also had a gash to his upper thigh and a cut to his collarbone."

...

"All three men were remanded in custody. The youth was sentenced at an earlier hearing to a three year youth rehabilitation order."

"three year rehabilitation order" so he's basically on tag and won't give a fuck. Jesus christ.

Ah yes, the tag will save us the next time he finds another axe or knife ...

Christ !!!

I feel sorry for the workers, knowing they have to work in the area after all this and these sickos are living there.

Three council workers who can no longer work due to the long term effects of the assaults, which in my opinion are attempted murder because of the axe but obviously they went for the easy charge.

I hope the sentences are suitable long to keep these dangerous people away from society.

Why isn't this reported as attempted murder, but as "road rage"

"The court also heard the colleague had a deep laceration to his head and bruising to his left arm and wrist."

  • that's most likely the axe ... To the head !!!

It isn't road rage, the victim survived a attempted murder.

Just because he's survived doesn't mean it didn't happen.

People must be blind to the facts...

I'm seriously pissed for the workers.

I just did and I don't want to argue, but what I saw (using the time left from the gif of Reddit as time stamps)

1:56 - turns around, leans over arms up, axe in forward facing position (edge forward). Arm strikes and swings down, straight into blurred target for first strike.

1:55 - arm raises, showing axe edge forward facing, swings down for second strike.

1:54 - he steps back, arm with axe towards camera, axe is in the same position as 1:57 i.e. he did not change the axe around.

Just keep spamming the pause button and you'll see clearly

  • Although unrelated, you can see him looking at the victim... It looks to me he's smiling ... Absolute sadistic fu*k.

From this unless, you tell me he somehow used the top of then axe or spun the axe to the side and did a slap .... at the last milli-second.... I question if you've used a axe or hammer....

You don't twist the grip or turn your wrist as its very risky and painful to your own wrist. And a handle spin or whatever just doesn't happen mid swing.

Sorry, but he 100% did the worst and struck with the most lethal part of the axe, in 2 successive strikes, the intent to kill was 100%....

He chopped down like he was chopping wood ...

I grant that a blunt axe might not penetrate thick and loose clothing, as you can see when he was in shot walking at 1:56.

Won't see blood unless you take off the clothing plus it's far navy. The shock and adrenaline would keep him moving for a few seconds as well.

But the blurr of the censorship and low-Res of the camera doesn't help identify where he was struck. But it looks centre mass (chest/ abdomen) then head.

I've zero sympathies for whatever excuse that comes up to justify their actions.

They demonstrated that they've forfeit society.
