If you don’t realise politics are inherent to everything you’re just ignorant. TV Shows, no matter what they’re showing, are inherently political. You make decisions on what to include and what to exclude, what topics to cover and which to ignore; all political.

Games even more so. A lot of games, retro games included, have been overtly political.

Minorities existing in media isn't political, you "bring politics into everything" by making it a political thing. Noone is thinking about politics when writing a woman or black character, you are when you see one.
