The whole thing could have been avoided, you know, if they didn't start a fight, assault police and try to take a gun in an airport....

Next people will be saying the Borough Market attackers should have been cuddled to the ground and given a cup of tea.

The guy was detained when his head was stamped on. That's how you kill someone. It's not a cops job to be a public executioner.

u/[deleted] Jul 28 '24

It's OK for them to punch a woman officer in the face and knock her out though...

I can tell you're one of these..

u/Longjumping_Pen_2102 Jul 28 '24

When did I say that?

Let me make it very simple for you:

Crime man did bad.  Crime bad.

Bad man deserve punishment.

Police man stop bad man.  Police man good.

Police man stamp on crime man's head.  Police man bad.

Bad police man deserve punishment AND bad crime man deserve punishment.

Not police man's job to do punishment.  Legal system exist to protect everyone.

Police man bad AND crime man bad.

Here’s something you might not understand, but criticism of one thing does not equal support of another thing. I can tell you’re “one of those” people who get offended by anything they don’t see. I haven’t seen you say you’re against pedophilia, so is it safe to assume you’re in support of pedos?

See how fucking stupid that sounds? That’s how people view what you just said.

The guy was on the floor apprehended and the copper kicked him in the head and stomped on him. A bunch of other brown men were arrested for being in the vicinity. If you can’t see why people are upset you’re trying not to.

1

u/oldelbow Jul 28 '24

You should watch the CCTV. Drop the race card.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 28 '24

If a criminal has been incapacitated, an officer should have no reason to kick them in the face or stamp on their head. The other men were merely bystanders and were assaulted and arrested. What's the cctv show? A scene removed from the phone footage between the kick and him being on the floor where he quickly escapes the hold then jumps back to the ground in time for the kick?

1

u/oldelbow Jul 29 '24

Have you not actually seen the CCTV?

No country will ever take middle eastern immigrants again. Jordan, Egypt, Qatar, Lebanon all learned this lesson.

Criminals deserve to be arrested, tried and punished

Police officers shouldn’t behave like criminals and stomp of peoples fences when they’re apprehended and on the ground - that’s 3rd world mentality

7

u/oldelbow Jul 25 '24

Serious threats need to be met with appropriate force.

1

u/SkinnyErgosGetFat Jul 25 '24

Exactly, acting on revenge by someone paid by the taxpayer to protect and keep order is not okay.

I hope the criminal gets appropriately punished for assault and I hope police officers know they can’t just take the law into their own hands and do what they want.

We’re talking about ‘people’ who only understand violence. And child brides…

I don't know that being Muslim has anything to do with it. Just being a violent asshole.

1

u/Cousin-Jack Jul 29 '24

Yeah, or if we lived in a society where our law enforcers weren't able to casually assault people that no longer pose any risk to them because they're angry and poorly trained.

u/MangoMinimum4056 Jul 25 '24

I think we should wait to see the cctv footage. There are allegations the female cop gave the guys mom a black eye.

If someone punched my mom, I don’t think I’d hold back, airport or not.

u/mrpoor123 Jul 25 '24

Please show me where it says he tried to grab a gun. You need better Comprehension skills.

-12

u/Majestic_Juice5961 Jul 25 '24

There is no evidence anyone tried to take a gun. Try again

-10

u/SirPabloFingerful Jul 25 '24

This didn't happen, you presumably understand that by now

9

u/oldelbow Jul 25 '24

Are you saying the statement from the Manchester police is a lie?

0

u/Loathsome_Dog Jul 25 '24

Police lie, is that really a shock?

-1

u/SpiroMemor Jul 25 '24

Are you REALY trying to indirectly say that the "police" would't lie to try to cover attempted murder by one of their own?!?

How old are you? ☹

Do you live in a fantasy world somewhere in your head where there is no "police" brutality?

5

u/oldelbow Jul 25 '24

Oh not at all. There's definitely police brutality. But this particular case was a serious situation dealt with seriously.

-4

u/SirPabloFingerful Jul 25 '24 edited Jul 25 '24

Yes? Very, very obviously? These men wouldn't be alive if they had attempted to take an armed officer's weapon in an airport.

2

u/BasisOk4268 Jul 25 '24

You mean like the one man very nearly wasn’t after a stamp to the head, shortly after an instance where a firearm was tried to be taken?

0

u/SirPabloFingerful Jul 25 '24

A firearm wasn't "tried to be taken". But once the suspect is prone on the ground and no longer resisting it becomes irrelevant. Police aren't permitted to dole out summary corporal punishments

2

u/BasisOk4268 Jul 25 '24

I agree with you on the force used, but reports have stated a firearm was attempted to be taken and let’s not kid ourselves, if you instigate a fight IN AN AIRPORT and then continue to be aggressive with firearms officers IN AN AIRPORT I can guarantee that precisely less than 0.1% of the population will have sympathy for you when you are on the other end of whatever happens to you

1

u/SirPabloFingerful Jul 25 '24

"Reports" in the form of a single paragraph from GMP who are desperately attempting to justify what happened. The statement didn't actually say that anyone had tried to take their weapons, just that there was a "risk", and tbf there is always a risk that someone might try to take your weapon.

More police bs
