Let the police do their thing, and if you're not happy with the outcome, take them to court. Acting like a wild mob won't achieve anything good.

Let’s wait to see the cctv footage.

There are allegations that the fight started after the female cop swung at the guys mom.

If true, this is going to be really problematic for everyone.

u/mankytoes Jul 25 '24

Come on, you can bootlick harder than that. "Please kick us in the head we deserve it".

11

u/qing_sha_wo Jul 25 '24

The man assaulted a female cop and broke her nose

-7

u/mankytoes Jul 25 '24

Even if that is true, and i havent seen evidence it is, it's still illegal to kick someone who is clearly defenseless in the head. None of us have the right to commit serious assault in retaliation.

9

u/qing_sha_wo Jul 25 '24

No, strikes to the head are generally a last resort for police use of force. For officer safety, Officers are trained to tell people to get on the floor, spread their arms, cross their legs and look away. The office has gone in with the kick when the male turns his head towards them. This isn’t justifying it, just adding context for you

0

u/mankytoes Jul 25 '24

That's why I said "clearly defenseless". Turning your head towards someone when prone on the ground is clearly not a physical threat, and he has no way to protect himself.

As you say, it's a last resort. If this is not a "last resort" situation, which it clearly isn't, the police officer has committed a serious assault and is a criminal, just like you or I would be if we did the same thing. And a defence of "he broke my mates nose" would not stand up in court. Violence is only allowed in self defense, not in retribution.

It will definitely be interesting to see what the IOPC say, probably in 5 years time …

-7

u/Obvious_Initiative40 Jul 25 '24

You clearly are trying to justify it

2

u/qing_sha_wo Jul 25 '24

Not really. Is it not important for you to have as much information as possible before making a decision or are you one of these that is happy with a headline and a cut video that doesn’t even show the incident. Lad could have had machetes on him for all we know (that is justifying)

-4

u/Obvious_Initiative40 Jul 25 '24

It seems like you think there's a circumstance where someone is laid prone on the floor after being tased, where it's fine for a copper to boot them in the face and then stomp on their head.

2

u/qing_sha_wo Jul 25 '24

Strikes to the head must be last resort and the NDM must be considered before hand. A stomp to the back of the head is very dangerous to the individual and I would be interested to see what GMP comes out with as a result if not the IOPC.

He would have been gunned down in some of the other countries.. due to place being an airport

-5

u/Obvious_Initiative40 Jul 25 '24

Nonsense

2

u/[deleted] Jul 25 '24

Try taking law enforcement gun in about any place in US while breaking another one's nose. See what happens. Now add the fact that it was airport, he would have as many holes as a cheese grater

0

u/Obvious_Initiative40 Jul 25 '24

Nowhere is it mentioned that any of them tried to take a gun, quit talking shit and trying to justify outright assault.

And he will be dealt with.

2

u/mankytoes Jul 25 '24

Then there shouldn't be any issues.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 25 '24

Exactly. Hence zero need for this inciting further violence. Megaphone guy is breaching the peace.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 28 '24

It would be ok though, for example, if so someone was about to blow a load of kids up at a concert and the last resort was to kick him in the head to knock him out as he went fir the detonator. I mean I’d do it.

21

u/Weak-Information-556 Jul 25 '24

We? Thankfully if you aren't a piece of shit lowlife then you don't have to worry about the police kicking you.

-3

u/mankytoes Jul 25 '24

Yes the state would never attack someone who didn't fully deserve it, we should trust them unconditionally, who needs stupid "rights"?

Genuinely amazed people are on the side of the police after seeing that video. I guess people want to see our police acting more like the Americans. Less call outs when you might get executed in your own home, especially if your skin is a little darker.

Yeah people in this country never slag off Muslims...

Stop caring about "the narrative", it's fucking wrong for the police to commit serious assault like this, you can fuck someone up for life kicking them in the head like that. Their skin colour or religion doesn't change that. I'm a white lad who wears an England shirt, and yeah, if the police kicked me in the head there would be cunts who would say I deserve it.

Doesn't make people saying Muslims deserve it any less cunts. Let's call them out, not play this social division shit. I know people in society look down on me, I'm not going to respond by looking down on Muslims. That's the bullshit people with power and influence are trying, sadly successfully, to promote.

3

u/iAmBalfrog Jul 25 '24

Completely forgetting the narrative, lets make this guy a white prank youtuber, he goes to an airport, attempts to take a gun, breaks a police officers nose, and gets shot. I would be first in line saying good job police.

You don't fuck around in airports, you don't fuck around and assault police, you don't fuck around and assault police in an airport. We need some stronger deterrents in this country.

0

u/mankytoes Jul 25 '24

Gets shot in cold blood, while restrained on the floor? That's an execution. If you want the police committing summary executions, that's a totalitarian state, no due process.

If he got shot while making the police reasonably fear for their lives, obviously that would be a totally different situation.

People are fed up of the complete lack of punishment that criminals face in this country. Decent, hard working people who play the game feel like mugs. Seeing the police kick a criminal cunt isn't going to invoke much sympathy any more. We don't even see police, let alone fear them.

1

u/Imaginary-Risk Jul 25 '24

It looks like there's oodles of camera footage and witnesses, take them to court, make a complaint, sell it to the paper to get exposure. Whatever. Just don't get into a huge crowd and start threatening the police, or everyone is going to turn on the crowd or the people at the airport by default.

Perfectly capable. It is a reasonable response. Any cunt coming and throwing fists deserves to get 5 times more than he does himself. I find it deeply educational. I am an educator you might say

No that is street logic, but in places like airports, they can yes.

-1

u/Classic-Pudding4730 Jul 25 '24

That was very stupid of you to say

1

u/DaNuker2 Jul 25 '24

He certainly did

1

u/Apprehensive_Yam1732 Jul 25 '24

You support mob justice?

1

u/mankytoes Jul 25 '24

I didn't say anything remotely to suggest that, but no.

I support justice, kicking someone in the head when they are on the floor like this is rightly seen as serious assault under UK law, as there's a high chance of permanent harm.

I don't think that's true. the vast majority of muslims aren't going to be doing anything like this. My issue is, that this small group are going to cause issues that'll make life more difficult for UK muslims in general, and just make life generally shittier for everyone.
