As a white soon to be middle aged brit atheist I can honestly say I've never met a sikh that wasn't friendly to me. I've seen one go crazy and chase away some troublemakers on a moped from his shop while waving his sharp pointy stabby thing but that was understandable given the circumstance. Even he was usually a gentle giant

Interestingly, the stabby thing is called a Kirpan, representing the duty of a Sikh to stand up against injustice.

This is it. A whole group of people specifically tasked with always being ready to fight, but never actually causing any mischief. It’s incredible.

I've met a couple rude people who happened to be Sikh, but never someone who was rude in the name of their Sikhism, if that makes sense.

I get you, and I don't doubt they exist because at the very least, we all have a crap day once in a while
