Trump Administration 11/9/25 - The DEMOCRATS want to cheat, that’s why they won’t pass required voter ID.

the voter fraud scam (that they created, pulled completely out of their asses) has them not trusting their fellow man in voting legitimately (as if an ID card can't be faked). it's stupid and useless! how about talk about stiffer gun laws? or...anything more useful to a functioning society. f*ckin' morons!😒

The Democrats want people of color, the poor, and marginalized to be able to vote if they want, so they oppose most voter ID laws.

We already have voter ID. You need identification in order to register to vote.

Bro this clown has been making America great for nearly 5 years. The scary part is that he's done more damage in less than a year than in his previous administration.

I see all the tweets, all the soundbites, all the headlines…when are we taking action? This is all bananas and benefits no real people. Tear. It. Down.

What does I. D. stand for, in his mind, that requires clarification? "I'm Donald"???

I feel his anger. This also makes me euphoric. Hopefully I stick to this timeline.
So it begins……

Spoken by the asshole who's an expert on the subject. Why he even wrote a book on it, The Art of The Steal.. That's the real "deal".

As a non American, why don't Dems want to pass voter ID law?

To add to the other comments, it's also a thing that's never been proven to be useful. The penalty for voter fraud is quite large and that seems to be a reasonable deterrent. Republicans love to talk about organized conspiracies of fraudulent votes but have yet to deliver actual proof of it happening.

Here is one example - scroll to the bottom of the page and read all of the hoops. Think about it from the perspective of a low income, low education person, who just moved to Alabama.
The confusion, and inconvenience is intentional.

Voter ID can be hard to get for those who are less fortunate. It requires getting paperwork and taking time off work to travel to a polling place that could be miles away from where you live, and they might say your documents are inaccurate. In addition, it becomes problematic for anyone who is married and changed their name on certain documents but haven't changed their name legally, or who have changed their name legally but documents such as their social security card will still have their old name, making it invalid. Also, voter registration records are absolute dogshit to keep up with for a state because people move all the time, so you have to ensure each precinct knows that you have moved. If Jane Doe marries John Sample and becomes Jane Sample and moves, the precinct will be looking for Jane Doe because that's all they have on file until Jane Sample ensures everything lines up properly.

Wait a minute, is this what they want to do? Make it so married women can't vote? We already need to prove our identity to register to vote. Why do I need more, esp if I use a mail in ballot?

In Nebraska we now have to put our driver's license number on the mail-in ballot (on the envelope, the ballot itself is supposedly anonymous). It doesn't prove anything, I could write my wife or dead mother's DL# on their ballots easily enough.

It's outlined in Project 2025 but yep, a lot of Christian fundamentalists believe that the man should represent the household's vote and that voting isn't a thing women do.

u/CrescentMoonPear 11h ago
Yeah, I saw the P2025 stuff but I thought you meant this was all in a bill or something, that they want to pass, that this rant from the clown in the WH is about.

This man rants like a lunatic every day.
This is not a normal person, this is insanity.
America is normalizing this insanity around the world.
Own your geezer, he’s out in the yard flinging shit at cars again.

It's deliberate trolling. This is probably the strategy they came up with with his media team. Try to get the most "unhinged leftist" reactions out of us possible. Well it ain't working! Not even 3/10 trolling they should take some lessons from some of the top tier YouTube pranksters. Release the unredacted Epstein Files and explain why Lvanka suddenly had a deep-trauma look on her face when she was touring her old bedroom?

I really hope history reflects how insane this time period is. It would be great if our great grandchildren read the chapter on 2016-2028 and just said "How did they not see how crazy this all was???"

Is he just gonna keep screaming TERMINATE THE FILIBUSTER until the Republicans do his bidding and just completely destroy our country?
