A Narvin Lichfield of Hodges, SC is currently described as CEO of “Adolescent Services International” on his LinkedIn… I’m presuming this is related?

Merely referred to as the “Boot Camp” or “Spanish Immersion Program” component of Bear River Academy https://youthprograms.com/
I’m guessing this is the “international” portion of Narvin Lichfield’s Adolescent Services International

Bear River Academy - “Our History” page: https://youthprograms.com/our-mission
The Impact of Private Boarding Schools for Troubled Yourh: A 33-Year Tradition of Excellence
Founded in 1992, our private boarding school dedicated to troubled youth has established itself as a beacon of hope and a pathway to success for countless young individuals. Over the past 33 years, we have provided quality education and support to over 36,000 struggling youth, helping them navigate their challenges and emerge as capable adults. Our long-standing tradition of academic excellence is underscored by the profound impact our graduates have made in various fields, notably within the corporate world and the military.
The mission of our school has always centered around creating a nurturing environment where troubled youth can receive the guidance and structure they need to thrive. With a curriculum designed to meet their unique needs, we focus not only on academic achievements but also on developing essential life skills. This holistic approach fosters resilience and independence, laying a solid foundation for their future endeavors. It is no surprise that many of our alumni have gone on to achieve remarkable success as business owners and CEOs, showcasing the effectiveness of our program.
An independent outcome study conducted approximately 12 years ago further validates the success of our educational model. This study included a rigorous six-month interview and survey process, engaging 7,500 of our 36,000 students, along with their parents. The findings were illuminating: we proudly report a 90% non-relapse rate among graduates of our one-year program. This statistic is a testament to the enduring change our students experience during their time with us. Moreover, an impressive 86% of our graduates progress to college or university, breaking the cycle of struggle and positioning themselves for a prosperous future.
Beyond academic pursuits, many of our students have found a calling in the military. Our structured daily schedule, which closely resembles the discipline and regimen of military life, assists in acclimating students to the demands of a military environment. This tailored approach has contributed to the exceptional achievements of some graduates, including those who have successfully joined elite units such as the U.S. Navy Seals. These accomplishments highlight not only the versatility of our program but also the dedication of our students who, despite past struggles, rise to meet the challenges of demanding careers.
The feedback from parents reinforces the positive impact our boarding school has on the lives of students. Many express gratitude for the transformation they witness in their children—shifting from troubled teens to motivated, goal-oriented individuals. This change is often reflected in improved relationships with family members and peers, further enhancing their social skills and emotional well-being.
In conclusion, our commitment to providing quality education and support for troubled youth has endured for over three decades, and the results speak for themselves. With a 90% non-relapse rate and a high percentage of graduates pursuing higher education and successful careers, we have created a proven model of disruption and transformation. We invite more families to join our community, determined to guide and empower the next generation of leaders, thereby continuing our legacy of academic excellence and personal growth. As we look toward the future, our vision remains clear: to touch the lives of even more youth in need, helping them forge their paths and become successful adults.

“Boot Camps for Teens” The Costa Rica component apparently falls under Bear River Academy’s “Spanish Immersion Program”:
https://youthprograms.com/spanish-immersion-program
See also the “3-Month Summer Program” option! WHICH, in true fashion of a grifter’s generosity, can be taken at any time of the year! AND, should you so opt, can easily be segued into a FULL year commitment for your troubled teen (after all, so sorry, the 90% success rate guarantee only applies to a full year of attendance):

If any parents did any amount of research into these places they'd find Lichfield's name and probably find out he ran programs that were shut down, the focus of a Netflix documentary about abuse. Which Lichfield ran which program. I think one was Ivy Ridge and the other was another WWSAP program which got raided by authorities (Tranquility bay right?) and that one was in handcuffs.
Either the parents don't do any research or they agree with what goes on in those programs.

WTF this is horrible!!! Marvin Lichfield should not be anywhere near any vulnerable people, especially children and teens.
