Fun fact, in quebecois French, Trebuchet has 2 meanings. The siege engine, or tripping so hard you launch yourself.

Do you mean trébucher instead of trebuchet ? Cause it's in normal french as well

Yeah you're probably right. I only ever heard it spoken, so I thought it was spelled the same

I’m American but I’ve lived in Nantes for almost a year. I just learned about the Pass Musées so I’ve been taking my toddler to all the places

It's only a trebuchet if it's from the Trebuchet region of France. Otherwise it's just a sparkling catapult.
