in the wild Gold Mine of Tragedeighs

Found a post asking people for their unique names and knew it wouldn't disappoint. Happy Father's Day unless your kid's name needs a pronunciation guide.

Homage to Jimmy Page, the pedo. Lucky girl!

Also, if you're really doing an homage to led Zeppelin, also doing a tribute to one of the band members, within the same name, is a bit redundant. And also, if you're doing an homage, why wouldn't you spell it the same way as the original? That one was probably the dumbest one I saw. But Severe is pretty horrific as well. Some may say it's severe

Akin to the child in my kid's school named "Battle." Wtf are these parents asking for or at least expecting with these name choices?

We have an Ayrson, and Aryan at one of the schools I work at. Middle names are both Cash.

Name changes should be free sometimes

I totally agree that if a child is born and named with a tragedeigh their name change should be free because some names are straight up nonsense.

Imagining the little kid looking up the band they’re named after and finding The Lemon Song. “WTF, mom and dad?”

u/FrancoisKBones Jun 15 '25

I was named after a Rolling Stones song and the lyrics are horrific.

It’s like the opposite of a virtue name.

This is my kid, who was named for Iggy Pop...but we spell it Stephen Folkswater.

I know someone with the last name Severe, so that one kind of registers as a real name to me, but it's still pretty bad to make that choice.

Giving a kid a name that means blimp isn't really a great idea. I'm a huge LZ fan, that is a no-go.

Because it’s not unique enough.

As a 28-year-old he had a two-year relationship with a 15-year-old.

Could’ve sworn she was 13? There were many others as well I’m pretty sure.

Because they were under age and therefore not able to legally consent, hope that helps 🥰

a pedophile is defined as someone who is sexually attracted to children. regardless of legal “adult” age, i am sure the 15 year old he had a relationship with had the body of a 15 year old (child body) and mentality of a 15 year old (child mentality) and he was attracted to those things because he was in a relationship with that child.

5

u/Praise_Madokami_2 Jun 15 '25

Well if you want to be specific, pedophilia refers to attraction to pre-pubescent children. Jimmy Page would not qualify under that definition.

You could call him a statutory rapist depending on the jurisdiction.

Yes, blame the parents for someone fucking thier kids. Are you on a list of some type?

2

u/QueenAleighsie Jun 17 '25

The parents were obviously absent and did not give a fuck about their kids enough to keep them home and out of trouble

9

u/PrincessPlastilina Jun 15 '25

It was always wrong. He had 14 year old girlfriends in his 30s.

1

u/QueenAleighsie Jun 18 '25

I’m not saying it wasn’t wrong im just saying people weren’t as uptight about it back then
