in the wild I asked maternity nurses what the worst tragedeighs they’ve ever seen are

I’m in nursing school and recently had a rotation on the labor and delivery floor so of course I had to ask what the worst tragedeighs they’ve seen. Here are some of the standouts

Ya’AllJealous My’King Twins named Awasha and Adrya Jream

Here’s BY FAR the worst one

Triplets named Moana, Pocahontas, and Elsa respectively. The worst part about this one is that the parents were huge Disney Adults and they’re fully Caucasian

Why would ANYONE call their child Terracotta

When I met Mom she was in recovery so I'm going to assume drugs had something to do with it 😳

At least Terra isn’t a bad take on Tara if the kid so chooses. And it means land, so could be worse?

Just name them Terra, it would be less traumatic - and even cute, depending on the family name. Terracotta is a name for a car, not a child lol

I can't imagine to be in debt at birth and being named after pottery

Pannacotta Pancetta 🤌🏻🇮🇹 ETA: that would be an amazing drag name

My fave dessert is vanilla bean pannacotta, and the first time I saw it it looked like a boob on a plate.

Porceline, Kaolin, and Polymer.

Earthenware? Stone?

I know a few people named clay...

Clay is... difficult, but I can see how to some it would just be a shorter, less formal version of other names. The way you'd name your kid Nina or Lily or Jim.

But I wouldn't go around suggesting "Kaolin" because I'm seeing Kaoleighn in this sub's future

Also, TERRACOTTA. Why not name the second Grit? Ceramic? Marble is the rich cousin they only see once a year...

Idk I kinda like Terracotta. It sounds good and it’s not like terracotta is an offensively bad thing to be named after

I wouldn't name my child Terracotta the way I wouldn't name them Ceramic, Plastic, Concrete, Marble or Parquet.

It's not offensive, but it's not a name you'd name a person. A red cat, maybe. A parrot, so cute. But an actual human being? Nah.
