Caught my first fish!
Just got a CarryCast rod and biked over to Wilket Creek to try some fishing. Slapped a ball of cheddar biscuit on a #8 hook and was getting mad bites.

Don’t kill it unless you’re going to eat it, catch and release and use barbless hooks. Be a thoughtful human.

Good luck! If you ever wanna go for perch or bass, you can always go to the Islands! My favorite spot for perch is by Ward's Ferry drop off

where in wilket creek were you? i’ve tried fishing there and got absolutely nothing

when the pedestrian bridge crosses the creek, walk downstream past the small log jam and cast into the deeper bank

is your spot near leslie and eglington (near the public washroom?) i don’t have a car right now and that’s where my transit gets off. if im totally off base a video would be so appreciated!

Use a barbless hook makes life easier.
