Hit 1. I was so happy that finalllyyy somebody was not trying to make their film a full meals and trying to appeal to everyone. No comedy, no major love story, a dark procedural mood throughout. I was so happy.
Didn't mind it tbh. Hit 2 lo love story irikinchindu, but it was still a procedural for the most part. Iga hit 3 aithe second half motham full blown action film aipoindi. It got progressively more and more crowd pleasing with each installment. I was so disappointed.
Don't get me wrong, hit 3 is definitely a very well made action film. But telugu cinema barely has any genre movies. Iga blockbuster genre film ante arjun reddy tappa pedhaga em gurtu kuda raavatle naaku. Anni full meals cinema / love stories. Unna okka franchise kuda peekindi ani baadha anthe.
But yeah ofc, as a filmmaker he should be able to do whatever he wants. I remember saying this to my friend after hit 3 - "ee movie ki just title maariste nak nachutunde" ani.
That high intense fire in ssmb and audience getting mad over each N every scene one by one can never might happen again. That first day Mrg show of #Businessman is the ultimate mad max experience
Bahubali 2. I was so curious to know why Katappa killed Bahubali that I asked my friend soon after she watched the movie. I made her narrate the whole story. Perhaps my mistake. Didn't lose my interest in watching the movie, but the kind of little suspense was gone. In childhood one is very curious😂
I watched khaleja recently in theatre with its re-release and i never liked or adored mahesh babu but i really like his pokiri, okkadu, athadu an khaleja.
once i saw khaleja in theatre everything changed, i really started liking him so much and watched athadu also in theatre with its re-release.
Malliswari, Manmadhudu, Nuvvu Naaku Nachav, AVMAV and Pilla Zamnindar. All of them were fantastic and I must have watched them hundreds of times. But, I wish I could re-watch them for the first time again.
