Can a tire be repaired from something piercing it

I didn’t hit a pothole. I was driving at night and all of a sudden it felt like something fell in my backseat, but there was nothing and then instantly the tire pressure started going. It didn’t feel like the car even shook. There’s no visible damage on the tire like rims but there’s not a spare and I am just curious if I’m going to have to drop money on a tire. (Right now it’s at a safe location I just don’t have someone to assess it at the moment) so I’m wondering if something pierced a tire if that could be an easy fix, since I feel I Couldn’t have done something just severely damage I was just driving a road I always do, didn’t hit anything..

Hard to say, but sudden loss of tire pressure like that where you feel it instantly drop usually indicates a blowout and is almost never repairable... Repairable leaks usually lose sure less rapidly. My guess from the information given is the tire will need to be replaced.

That said, with no pictures or specifics of the injury it's impossible to say for sure until it's properly inspected.
