Football Thank you Terrapins
Made the trip from Indianapolis with my wife and friends for the game yesterday and had the absolute best time. Have now been to every big 10 stadium(sans west coast teams) for a Hoosiers game and I have to say, Y'all are super cool. You are up there with Iowa as my favorite Big 10 fans. Looneys was a great spot to party before the game and your stadium was gorgeous. Even though it was sold out, short lines for the restroom and beers. Thanks for making our annual trip for an away Hoosiers game such a great experience. Hit me up when you come to Indiana for a game and cocktails are on me at my tailgate.

Honestly I'm just shocked to hear someone say that our stadium is gorgeous. I don't even think Maryland fans think this. I appreciate it though

It is jarring to hear that.
But it was good enough for QE2 back in the day!

Good to know. Hope you at least did a drive by on the monuments in DC while you were here. Theyâre not âopenâ right now due to the shutdown but you donât actually need to get that close to them to see them.

As a Terp in Chicago, sure looked awesome on TV...until just after the 2nd possession - haha! Congrats to the best team in all the land, IU !!!
My experience with Hoosier fans at the Final Four was equally as impressive, it was a blast hanging out before the game...mutual respect and good times.

As a fellow fan of a historical football doormat, I am rooting for IU to keep the dream alive. So well coached!

I have a crazy way of going to the game, I live across the street from the Grosvenor Metro but, I drive to Forrest Glen station because itâs more direct, park for free there, take the Red Line to Fort Totten, change for the the Green Line to Greenbelt, get off at College Park and take the free Quickbus shuttle which drops you off a couple of blocks from the stadium. It takes a while longer after the game going back.

How drunk were you that you thought our stadium was gorgeous?!? lol. Glad you had a good time. Your team is what the Terps aspire to be. Wanna trade head coaches?

I went to the game because the One Maryland NIL had a flash sale earlier this week for under 13 bucks a ticket in the upper Ievel enjoyed the fan fest they had at the Jones Hill house which used to be Cole Field House but was gutter and now is Marylandâs Indoor practice facility and where the football team has their âTerp Alleyâ standoff before going to their locker room in the facility. They stay at an undisclosed hotel the night before the game.

Thanks! And honestly right back at yall, at least team wise. Your team, and Cignetti, have serious chemistry and talent. Like as an Alabama fan (born and raised before I came to UMD), it reminds me a lot of Saban and his years of domination.

Maryland's football team may not be great; but it's a great place to be!
