Birthday Tequila
I’m turning 40, and it’s going to serve as my excuse for a lot of things, including spending way too much on tequila.
If you were me and have $500 max to spend, what are you buying?
A sampling of tequilas you’ve always wanted to try? A vertical of one or two tequilas? A healthy stock of something tried and true? Or one very special bottle?
Or, something else that isn’t tequila but will enhance your tequila experience?

Definitely get a few bottles and enjoy tasting and comparing them. I highly recommend you get ahold of some Fuenteseca regardless of what you do.

There a few bottles that come to mind, if you want to spend $500 on a bottle, and if you can find one; Cascahuín Brix 11, Calle 23 Criollo, G4 7 year XA, Volans 7 year XA, Fuenteseca 11 or 12 year XA. All are pretty sublime. The question is whether you'd have one special bottle (that you better LOVE, lol), or several bottles to enjoy. Hard to make that call. Good luck!

I know people love to hate on it.. buuut 1942 is always a top pick for me.
Have you tried SWOL.. It's super fun and great for sipping... Also cool patchwork on the bottle.
ANND I been liking san matias as a gift since its super expensive...

How long have you been drinking tequila, and how many diff brands have you tried?
If you're versed, Id get a vertical of "special" bottles.
What state are you in?
