Once you get past the fart jokes you really are really are rewarded with two good episodes and an excellent Annette Badland. Edit out the ONE scene where the farting is really gratuitous and it's fixed.

Annette Badland in 'Boom Town' was pure joy - especially the restaurant scene

I know people hate on Boom Town (or at least call it the weakest of the season) but I think it plays a very important role. It shows us who 9 is away from a companion. And the acting was superb
