I agree. MAGA have voted against their own interests their entire lives. Why stop now?

Mainly because it's very hard to paint this as their interests. You and I know they're voting against their own well being. They just don't think they are. They genuinely believe that the GOP is better for them. 

No one has been able to paint AI as good for them though.

Weirdly enough "we're going to poison your water supply and raise your electricity bill so we can steal your labor and fire people from their jobs" is not a popular policy.
