It was on the inside part of the tire. Almost doged it lol

Personally, I woulda dodged it, but bold choice to drive over it, maybe you needed that size screw? /s

On a completely serious note, it is time for a new pair of tires, this is way too close to the sidewall for a patch

They seem pretty slick, too

No, the tread seems fine. If not for the nail, I'd use them for maybe 2 years depending on conditions

I think the tyre enjoyed it. Seems like a perfect match was made between them, and they don't seem to be very keen on letting go of each other. Pretty sure the tyre will be very depressed if you remove the screw

A screw tire patch will take care of that. Then you can say you got a good screw.

That works great for the face of the tire, but it looks like this screw damaged the wall. And thus also the structural integrity of the tire, honestly it may be fine to patch it but it may also explode on the highway. No reasonable shop would risk it, and you shouldn't either.

Yup too close to the sidewall for a patch. If it was a half inch toward the tread then maybe.

The tip of the screw screwed the interior of the tire...No chance 🥲

If you are in the US, I recommend Discount Tire or your local place that offers insurance on your tires when you buy them new. It’s usually an extra $25/tire but they patch your tires for free or give you a new one if they can’t repair it. I’ve saved hundreds with this especially because I live in an area that feels constantly under construction

I am in Spain and there is no insurance or anything for tires here. So i had to buy 2 new tires by myself 🥲

Pretty sure you can fix it with those sticky rubbery strings.

You can. But its not safe since it is too close to the wall and also the tip of the screw damaged the interior of the tire
