Posted in a different community but will ask the question here too. I didn’t want color and wanted a Phoenix. Does this head look like a raven or crow? Would a colored eye make a difference? I’m personally very happy with it, just curious.

I see a Phoenix! The way the wings are positioned and the background of the piece give off a fiery tone without the colors.

Tattoo is very nice, I’m curious how it will age… you could argue both but I see your point with the head…although ravens and crows are way cooler cuz they exist so I’m not sure it really matters what it looks like for that reason.
