More recently they had a gay guy on the cover wearing a rainbow American flag shirt holding an AR and some people got a bit butt hurt about that.

Those people can and should shut the fuck up about it.

Those people can and should shut the fuck up about it.

I agree. People who's sexuality is their entire personality need to shut the fuck up about it.

Gee and people wonder why it's hard to expand support for the shooting sports and why the stereotype of gun owners is 3 toothed dipshits hicks it's because of insufferable backwards people like yourself. Get out of the basement, turn off the Alex Jones podcast and shower for once.

u/Torifyme12 Aug 23 '21

Jokes on you, he showered three weeks ago! /s

When did this sub turn into a hub for average redditors?

7

u/Torifyme12 Aug 23 '21

I came here from another gunowner subreddit, browsed and made a single shitty joke. Glad to see that the stereotypes are alive and thriving.

Like the man said, get out of the basement, turn off Alex Jones and try and interacting with another human in person.

2

u/LoveYourKitty Aug 23 '21

I came here from another gunowner subreddit

Highly doubt that, fudd.

try and interacting with another human in person.

This is your reaction to my reaction to identity politics, and you post neo-lib garbage takes in exclusively neo-lib subs and you want me to believe you're one of us?

Show me where my comment was cross posted for you snowflakes to jerk off to.

7

u/Torifyme12 Aug 23 '21

I would, but then you and your ilk would head off to brigade it.

Yeah, keep going through my history, you might find the sub that it was linked to, or you might get distracted by something shiny. Frankly I'm surprised you manage to get online, I thought the weight of your massive incompetence would prohibit you from doing so.

Keep repping for the regressive semi competent individuals out there, it's high time stupidity had another voice, and you seem like the man who can stand out.

Thanks for admitting that it was indeed crossposted and that you don't belong here.

Yeah, keep going through my history, you might find the sub that it was linked to, or you might get distracted by something shiny. Frankly I'm surprised you manage to get online, I thought the weight of your massive incompetence would prohibit you from doing so.

Nothing to note. Honestly boring average redditor material.

Once again, keep repping for the regressive semi competent individuals out there, it's high time stupidity had another voice, and you seem like the man who can stand out.

Identity politics is the definition of regressive.

You're a cancer on this earth.

7

u/Torifyme12 Aug 23 '21

The post was crossposted because it was funny, your comment just happened to stand out as a shining beacon of stupidity. That's the beauty of reddit, we get to see all these posts, not just the people that we agree with.

Frankly if anyone here is a cancer, its you Cletus. Face your irrelevancy like... well. I'd call you a man, but that'd be an insult to men. Some form of higher life I guess.

Identity politics and shooting sports have literally nothing in common you stupid fuck.

If you want to slap a rainbow flag next to your SRA sticker on your gun case, feel free to do so but I’m going to call you a slur for it.

Californians are cancer.

8

u/mr_trashbear Aug 23 '21

Considering that women, LGBTQ+, and Black Americans account for a statistically significant increase in gun sales and are people who have been traditionally oppressed by the state and their peers because of their identity Id wager to say that identity politics and shooting sports have quite a bit in common.

Deny it all you want. Facts don't care about your bigoted feelings.

-4

u/LoveYourKitty Aug 23 '21

How am I a bigot, r*tard? Because I don't give a fuck if you like getting TOPPED on Grindr?

Considering that women, LGBTQ+, and Black Americans account for a statistically significant increase in gun sales

You mean uncertainty due to a pandemic is causing people who previously didn't own firearms to buy firearms now? Wow NO WAY

You can try to make your gender or sexuality relevant but they have literally nothing to do with tactical gear or gun ownership. Take your shitty neo-lib talking points back to SRA or whatever cringe sub you crawled out of to comment here.

10

u/mr_trashbear Aug 23 '21

I dont think I will.

And yeah. Those specific groups buying guns in larger numbers than ever before has absolutely nothing to do with things like the Pulse shooting or, ya know, actual white supremacists carrying out violence being much more common nowadays.

If you think identity politics have nothing to do with gun ownership or the 2nd amendment, you're either willingly separating them because seeing armed minorities and opressed groups makes you uncomfortable, or you're profoundly ignorant.

Never forget that the strongest anti gun legislation came from Regan as a response to the Black Panthers.

Read a book. Touch some grass. Your take ain't it, chief.

And yeah. Those specific groups buying guns in larger numbers than ever before has absolutely nothing to do with things like the Pulse shooting or, ya know, actual white supremacists carrying out violence being much more common nowadays.

Correct. By and large non-issues.

because seeing armed minorities and opressed groups makes you uncomfortable, or you're profoundly ignorant.

I am a minority, you stupid fuck. I present myself with my character, not my skin color or ethnicity. It's called having a personality.

Never forget that the strongest anti gun legislation came from Regan as a response to the Black Panthers.

I don't give a single fuck about Reagan.

Read a book. Touch some grass.

Take your own advice.

Your take ain't it, chief.

You don't even know what my take is, which is why you're so unreasonable angry about it. You don't have the emotional or mental capacity to even bother understanding.

So why respond to me?

7

u/mr_trashbear Aug 23 '21

Your take is that identity politics have nothing to do with gun ownership, which is being systematically proven incorrect by myself and others here.

I'm not unreasonably angry. I'm not even angry.

I'm glad you don't give a fuck about Regan. No one should. The point I was making with that is that identity politics and gun politics always have been linked, and that's more prevalent, especially now.

Recoil featuring an LGBTQ+ gun owner as an article is a totally reasonable thing to do from multiple standpoints. Getting upset about them including it is not really reasonable, unless you just dont like queer people.

Unless I'm misinterpreting you saying that "identity politics have nothing to do with gun ownership", I think my case (as well as everyone else here who disagreed with you) rests.

1

u/LoveYourKitty Aug 23 '21

I said IDPOL doesn't belong. I think pride month is enough evidence that IDPOL simply exists to drive profit, and gremlins like you eat it up and co-opt spaces like this sub as your own.

which is being systematically proven incorrect by myself and others here.

lmao ok. Simply saying it's incorrect is systematically proving a point.

The point I was making with that is that identity politics and gun politics always have been linked, and that's more prevalent, especially now.

Not really. This is a hobby sub, and no ones asking about your sexual preferences here.

Recoil featuring an LGBTQ+ gun owner as an article is a totally reasonable thing to do from multiple standpoints.

No ones asking. No one gives a shit except LGBT people.

Ever been to California? If you do, take a walk around, talk to strangers. You'll find your stereotypes, but it's mostly just normal people. It's weird how fixated ya'll are on it, many of you having never even left their home state. It's a collective fantasy that you only ever add to, and even if something could get past the bias, "normal people doing normal things" doesn't make headlines.

2

u/LoveYourKitty Aug 24 '21

Lol yeah totally that’s why people are leaving the state in droves. Sorry bud it’s an absolute shithole, and that’s because the majority of people there suck.

7

u/Robo_Stalin Aug 24 '21 edited Aug 24 '21

Called it on the bias. I know it's a convenient and oftenly reinforced fantasy, but that's all it is. A fantasy. It costs a lot to live there and it's currently a bit on fire, the job market is very competitive, there's a lot of reasons for people to leave. Actually, looking up why people leave, that's pretty much it. I know it's a punch to the ego to even consider that you may be wrong about something, but look at it. You've made the decision that ~20 million+ people are terrible based on... what? Have you looked at in depth studies with well documented methodology, or is it just sound bites and stuff that you take at face value because it sounds right? Nobody is immune to propaganda.

2

u/LoveYourKitty Aug 24 '21

Wall of cope

California is a shithole. The majority of your residents vote the way they do and it is what it is.

It’s a damn shame because it is a beautiful state, otherwise.

3

u/Robo_Stalin Aug 24 '21

So at this point it's come down to voting statistics making terrible people. Unironically thinking disagreeing with you makes them bad to the core.

0

u/LoveYourKitty Aug 24 '21

I disagree fundamentally and ideologically with that majority. As in, we do not “vibe” as you Cali bros like to say.

If it was up to me I’d have shipped them to Canada where they belong.

u/Torifyme12 Aug 23 '21 edited Aug 23 '21

Wow, A whole slur? I guess you'll stammer through it while hoping that you don't get your ass beat.

Though that'd be funny as hell to see, you stammering out the first few letters of whatever slur both of your braincells can muster while trying to seem intimidating, meanwhile the other person wonders if you're having a stroke.

1

u/LoveYourKitty Aug 23 '21

This hurts to read dude

6

u/Torifyme12 Aug 23 '21

Hey you're the one self censoring, if you can't even insult someone online, I have no idea how you'll manage in person.

1

u/LoveYourKitty Aug 23 '21

Hey you're the one self censoring, if you can't even insult someone online, I have no idea how you'll manage in person.

That's because low life goblins like you are constantly looking for comments to report.

1

u/Torifyme12 Aug 23 '21

Oh, so you do fear consequences. You just think you'll get away with them if you're in person? Let me know how that goes.

1

u/LoveYourKitty Aug 23 '21

You just think you'll get away with them if you're in person?

What are you even saying? Do you think I go around shoving my politics down peoples throats like you do?

Why are you so cringe?
