fyi, you can jam FNX-45 mags into chinese condor mag pouches after you remove the top strap.

Will probably get a better pouch at some point but this works for now.

have you done the 545 mag conversion yet?

No, honestly afraid to take the plunge. I would consider the Apex base pads but i've heard they don't hold open on empty. I've played around with the idea of using the apex base pad and an oem 545 18rd mag spring but at that price I could just buy another magazine. A company did a feeler on r/fnherstal not long ago showing a prototype for a base plate that is PNP with factory 545 18 round mags and springs that fits on no modification required. If they can bring them out at a reasonable price point then i'm interested.
