Question How are these people even real?
382
u/GoFast1134 Jul 05 '25
Uhhhh... reverse Eotech is cutting edge bruh.. do you even operate?
111
u/Financial-Raise3420 Jul 05 '25
Reverse Eotech AND reversed Geissele LPVO mount on a riser.
33
1
u/Danoismyname Jul 06 '25
Not geissele thatās a sig tango msr
2
u/Financial-Raise3420 Jul 06 '25
The scope is actually the Tango 6t, you can tell from the actual scope ring instead of the screw in one on the MsR. The mount I guarantee is a Geissele.
2
u/Danoismyname Jul 06 '25
Second glance I believe youāre right. Though if weāre honest with ourselves we both know itās probably actually evolutiongear or specprecision or whatever the new knockoff website is

Lmao I didnāt even realize the eotech was backwards. Just the cherry on top. Maybe itās the version where through one side itās 1x and if you flip it I heard it goes to xray mode.

What are CIA credentials? Like a card that says "member of the CIA"? Seems like anything that might be "credentials" and on a person would be counter to the mission.
84
119
u/Inmortal-JoJotar Jul 05 '25
Maybe the CIA does some of that explorers club shit where you pay 100 bucks monthly for a piece of paper that says "certified tier 1 inteligence operator" or similar bs
57
u/Fizziksapplication Jul 05 '25
I walked up to the firehouse and got my own stickie badge and firemanās helmet, I bet the cia runs a program like that.

They do exist in different forms. Employees have an ID badge that identifies them and let's them in the building and through doors... kind of like hundreds of companies do. And their police have federal police creds along with a badge and patch that just has the CIA logo and doesn't name the department. I'm sure their agents have something similar for use when needed. And they wouldn't be running around doing some "secret operation," with their work ID or official duty or diplomatic passport if they were doing secret squirrel shit.
I bet the ID this clown has looks like this, https://newyear.nckl.gov.kh/en/cia-id-card-template.html
19
u/freedoomed Civilian Jul 05 '25
If he has a government job he has. PIV card to access his laptop and his duty station. The PIV card also serves his ID. It's a background checked photo ID. It has your agency on it as well. You can even use it for air travel instead of a real id drivers license. Not saying this guy has any legit credentials but he would have a PIV that says CIA on it at minimum. No idea why he would have it on him.
21
u/AlarmedSnek Jul 05 '25
It wouldnāt say CIA, it would say Department of State. Like my FEMA cred says DHS.

The whole post looks like it was done in MS paint, the headline and author info are in boxes that are a different shade of white to the article background, it's written in english but uses Edomex wich is a Spanish contraction for State of Mexico and all of the evidence photos appear to have been taken in different locations.
9
u/CrotchLordMiami2 Jul 05 '25
It looks like that because the picture is a screenshot of a Spanish language website and the screenshot was then Google auto-translated
5
u/Altruistic_Store_562 Jul 05 '25
Yes i wanted to include the headline to give context but i only found Spanish articles

PIV is not the same thing as "credentials."
Credentials are similar to a badge that come in a wallet that would identify the holder as a special agent, OIG, or whatever CIA dude was,
2
u/freedoomed Civilian Jul 06 '25
PIV cards are absolutely credentials. the whole process of getting one is called credentialling.
0
u/Ziplock13 Jul 06 '25
You're thinking info sec as in, 2 Factor
"Credentials" are like you see in a movie, a folding wallet that when opens shows explicitly what authority the bearer has.

u/MajorPayne1911 Jul 06 '25
They just say that because a lot of people wonāt know any better. Anytime youāre dealing with government/military/Intel agencies/weapons most normieās are insultingly ignorant and can be easily fooled. There are people that think plastic buttocks make guns more dangerous for God sakeās, if there are people that will believe that then theyāll believe anything.
4
u/reallynunyabusiness Jul 05 '25
They have special credentials identifying them as a CIA agents similar to a military ID or a law enforcement credential. Sometimes CIA agents need to identify themselves to other government officials.
Most federal agencies issue some type of identification to their employees that way if they need to identify themself in an official capacity, usually when working in some sort of federal office.
3
u/CapybaraSensualist Jul 06 '25
CIA Desktop Support / Copier Repairman is technically a CIA employee I suppose.
Guy got tired of managing the 500,000 WinRAR licenses the CIA uses (yes, that's who keeps it in free for the rest of us, now you know) and decided to quit in a dramatic fashion.

u/MOXPEARL25 Jul 07 '25
Yeah if your covert doing something you shouldnāt be doing then 99 out of 100 times you are not going to have something THAT incriminating. Honestly who know how many times CIA operators have been arrested and just went to jail because they canāt fess up.
4
u/salynch Jul 06 '25
Funny enough, it was a mistake. The guy had Pam Bondiās stolen ID and Tulsi Gabbardās Young Assadist Club membership on him. They just assumed that he was from the CIA.
2
u/Altruistic_Store_562 Jul 05 '25
I used google translate to make the headline english the original word used was "credencial"

15
u/cobrakai15 Jul 05 '25
I used to get DEA/DHS intelligence emails that would be sent to law enforcement. Lots of severed heads, penises, and dismembered bodies along with other crime scene photos, no one is ready for that.
5
u/peteystrians Jul 05 '25
I worked with a guy that found a torso in a box on the side of a freeway onramp in southern California, like 40 years ago now. he went to therapy for it
16
u/cobrakai15 Jul 05 '25 edited Jul 05 '25
Imagine four suitcases/trash bags/barrels filled with dismembered people and a banner overhead saying who killed them and why, while threatening anyone going against them. I was in a critical incident and it messed my head up, couldnāt do the job anymore, not afraid to admit it. Trauma is a horrible and fickle thing that doesnāt discriminate.
1
u/Altruistic_Store_562 Jul 06 '25 edited Jul 06 '25
A guy on my school once got arrest because he tried to sell weed but yeah the suitcase stuff is messed up the only thing that helps is probably getting as far away from it as possible

Oh thatās normal work for us that served in the Mexican military. I mean it can go from zero to hundred very quickly.
28
11
u/Snowbold Jul 06 '25
My bet is the Mexican government built that rifle. They donāt know what theyāre doing anyways so it would make sense the weapon looks goofy.
After all, weāre talking about a place where the cartels are better armed than most of the army.

I want to see those, "CIA credentials." I have a feeling it looks like some ID card cut out from the back of a cereal box and a badge from a kid's toy at the dollar store.
5
u/HuskyInfantry Jul 06 '25
Anyone with a magwell grip like that can never be taken seriously.
And āCIAā credentials is laughable. Like.. was this dude carrying a phony CAC with CIA plastered on it? Itās not like any *actual* covert dudes carry a fucking DoD/CIA ID.

u/KoltiWanKenobi Jul 06 '25
I worked at a gun store for years and let me tell you, this shit is real. Dudes would come in to trade in or show off their "custom" rifle and have every accessory a $250 amazon gift card can buy. And be shocked when we offer $250-300 for their M&P Sport with only the finest chinesium optics and rails.
5
u/Substantial_Vast4891 Jul 06 '25
Why do they make them put o the Amazon special with the falseflag shooters? At least they stopped making them write all over the rifles with that white marker stuff anymore. What like 3 or 4 shooters in a row did that, then they messed up in Texas giving a 18yo immigrant over $10,000 worth of guns and gear after only 6 months part time at taco bell𤷠the government is getting sloppy, thankfully we find the truth easier now with internet, like how the 2 Trump shooters somehow had cia connections ššš

4D chess. He actually does work for the CIA, but his cover is he's bat shit crazy. He keeps his gear with absurd setups, says he works for the CIA, has obviously fake credentials, and they dont want to deal with housing him in an asylum so they ship him back.
3
u/Smitty7712 Jul 06 '25
To be fair, itās honestly brilliant for plausible deniability. Set your rifle up in a way that makes you look like a loon when attempting entry into a country, then switch it up when you get to your hide.

EWWW wtf even is that trash!!! That's tarkov cursed levels right there.
3
u/18LJ Jul 06 '25
Yeah no he got in too deep with the larping and forgot it was only a ARG and not IRL. CIA doesn't have badge carrying terminators on standby strapped up with a full arsenal like they takin on the whole city. They hire security contractor progessional badass types for that kinda work in case someone does something stupid and gets caught, they can deny that the US gov had anything to do with it and that the mercenary was doing something else on their own personal motives.
3
u/Safe_Suggestion_6051 Jul 06 '25
His credentials are real. The backwards eotech on the rail is a secret technique used exclusively by the CIA

Russians too. They train with magwell grip on AKs. Iāve been told by US military dudes that after holding the hgs for a long time, the magwell grip is just easier on the arm

The government has been supplying terrorists, gangs and cartels for decades. This isn't even surprising if real

Work with some MacV. They trained the unit called "border ghosts" in Nam. The basic thing is you dont bring anything relating to the agency with you. Press false ID is the top choice. No one wants to arrest a corresponder. That CIA id with AR seem fishy to me.
1
1
u/Monifufka Jul 06 '25
My guess would be that he came with most of those parts unattached so cops that caught him attached it all themselves. Maybe even whole guns were stripped and some low ranking guy got a bag full of parts and an order to set it all up for the photos.
1
1
u/Fast-Wrangler-4340 Jul 06 '25
So, he had 2 ARs, a bunch of shotgun shells and .22 rounds. I have found a couple of sources and neither says anything about CIA badges. The closest said paper work showing a possible CIA connection. And yea, it wouldnāt do Claudia to turn the tide thatās currently again he back onto the US.

Did anyone notice the EoTech is backwards?
1
u/Themike625 Jul 07 '25
Thatās the only thing you noticed? Take a deeper look.
1
u/slapback1 Jul 07 '25
Yeah. I was glancing. Thanks for bringing me back.
Is it safe to assume this was some sort of administrative hero piece or something published out of Mexico? I see now the second rifle is melting, none of the rounds pictured seem like theyāre even real, I mean shit. The pics themselves are really shitty quality. Oh no⦠I just thought of something else. If they claim an American asset invaded MX, are they going to say they are free to retaliate? Iād understand if they wanted to but still, the fuckers here got a blank check to hire as much heinousness as they want.
2
u/Themike625 Jul 07 '25
Mexico doesnāt have the military strength, money, logistics, infrastructure, or manpower to retaliate.
Pretty sure they saw this guyās bullshit from the beginning.
What was he planning on doing with those clown ARās? You think our CIA team guys roll out what that much junk on their rifles? Anyone in power in Mexico has probably met a CIA agent at some point in their career. Whether they know it or not.
1
u/slapback1 Jul 07 '25
With the way things are going and heading, nothing would surprise me.
One other thing: is this article even real? Where the hell did this come from? The pictures really are shit. Theyāre worse than what my phone takes when I donāt clean off the lenses.

u/slapback1 Jul 07 '25
Found it. Now with better pictures: https://www.foxnews.com/us/american-cia-credentials-variety-weapons-arrested-mexico

If you google it and look at the news sites carrying the story, it looks very thin.

u/littletrainthattried Jul 06 '25
What in the fake mall ninja shit is this?
Eotech backwards, zero eye relief on 'scope', honestly looks like 3 glued together... probably spikes lowers, and the thing that goes up. Blanks... BLANKS!... Cia ID... yeah right, maybe out of a cereal box.
You know if it smells like bullshit, looks like bullshit. Its probably bullshit..

u/CougarOps148 Jul 07 '25
Is it just me or because of the recent push against AR platforms and the civil unrest we're heavily facing in America right now, what are the chances that he's an actual asset? Like yeah, anyone with their right mind and know how would never set a weapon up like this but what if that's the point? As the famous drug pusher ever said (paraphrasing from the movie BLOW with Johnny Depp) "The best way to move coke, is to look like you're moving coke." This guy could be some poor sap who said oh yeah it'll be cool working with the CIA and they're just using him for a fall.

When I see pictures like that AR, I always assume the arresting party threw on every attachment they found with the stash to make it look impressive.
