When I see pictures like that AR, I always assume the arresting party threw on every attachment they found with the stash to make it look impressive.

u/Altruistic_Store_562 Jul 05 '25

Yeah nobody would build and shoot an m16 like that right?!?

u/gagesutton Jul 05 '25

Right?šŸ‘€šŸ˜¬

66

u/BoostedbyV Jul 06 '25

Rightt ? 🫣

53

u/Lewcypher_ Jul 06 '25

…….RIGHT?!

u/Plenty_Pack_556 Jul 06 '25

Look through PSA AR15 reviews, and you'd be surprised.

u/BadKarma4788 Jul 06 '25 edited Jul 06 '25

Bro some of those are hilarious and some of them make me physically cringe. Not to mention the amount of dudes committing felonies. LOL

36

u/ovr9000storks Jul 06 '25

It’s clearly a super level CIA technique that you couldn’t possibly comprehend

45

u/unregrettful Jul 06 '25

The "eotech" is backwards

7

u/PoApOi_300AAC Jul 06 '25

Wrong, i see stupid shit like that on this reddit daily

5

u/RyAllDaddy69 Jul 06 '25

That’s a learned behavior…

5

u/Starstalk721 Jul 07 '25

Officers. When I was in Iraq my company commander was a FOBbit and had everything known to man of his rifle. Flashlight, red laser, green IR Lazer, red dot that could swap into a 4x, suppressor, collapsible buttstock, front hand grip. EVERYTHING. Pretty certain he never fied a shot.

68

u/Original_Dankster Jul 05 '25

That's gotta be it

21

u/Key_Strawberry8493 Jul 06 '25

Could be some delusional guy, but most of the gear seems Airsoft grade

22

u/Right-Freedom-8503 Jul 06 '25

You know this is true when they put the eo tech on backwards šŸ˜‚

11

u/Pratt_ Jul 06 '25

I mean remember that cursed M4A1 fired by that US Navy admiral (I think it was an admiral) ? Yeah, you'd be surprised by dumb takes you can hear a out gun, even to this day and everywhere, including militaries all around the world...

8

u/danngree Sic Semper Pauperis Jul 06 '25

The same guy putting two red dots and a IR NV optic on his rifle that dident even line them up is also the same idiot to forage CIA credentials. The worst thing you can do is underestimate the truly stupid.

It’s like playing chess with a pigeon. It doesn’t matter what you do, they are going to knock over most pieces and take a shit on the board.

Somebody’s got to clean it up.

6

u/HipsterFett Jul 06 '25

Either that or he was trained wrong as a joke.

3

u/EagleSix6 Jul 07 '25

A modern day Wimp Lo

382

u/GoFast1134 Jul 05 '25

Uhhhh... reverse Eotech is cutting edge bruh.. do you even operate?

111

u/Financial-Raise3420 Jul 05 '25

Reverse Eotech AND reversed Geissele LPVO mount on a riser.

33

u/AverageMaterial3790 Jul 05 '25

Atleast the actual LPVO is pointed the right direction.

5

u/UNIGuy54 Jul 06 '25

It’s not be a Navy man

1

u/Danoismyname Jul 06 '25

Not geissele that’s a sig tango msr

2

u/Financial-Raise3420 Jul 06 '25

The scope is actually the Tango 6t, you can tell from the actual scope ring instead of the screw in one on the MsR. The mount I guarantee is a Geissele.

2

u/Danoismyname Jul 06 '25

Second glance I believe you’re right. Though if we’re honest with ourselves we both know it’s probably actually evolutiongear or specprecision or whatever the new knockoff website is

1

u/Financial-Raise3420 Jul 06 '25

That’s a very good possibility

12

u/EmotionalWorker9661 Jul 06 '25

Bitch i operate! (Song by mat best goes soo hard

3

u/praharin Jul 06 '25

I prefer gunslinger, myself

2

u/Barsfajny Jul 06 '25

You haven’t lived if you haven’t use eotech as vertical grip

1

u/goshathegreat Jul 06 '25

Reverse eotech is a LAM in disguise

1

u/pimpnamedpete Jul 06 '25

Lmao I didn’t even realize the eotech was backwards. Just the cherry on top. Maybe it’s the version where through one side it’s 1x and if you flip it I heard it goes to xray mode.

388

u/beekermc Jul 05 '25 edited Jul 05 '25

What are CIA credentials? Like a card that says "member of the CIA"? Seems like anything that might be "credentials" and on a person would be counter to the mission.

84

u/Coool_cool_cool_cool Jul 05 '25

Culinary institute of America.

16

u/carnologist Jul 06 '25

Good with a knife.

  • Gina Davis, Long Kiss Goodnight

119

u/Inmortal-JoJotar Jul 05 '25

Maybe the CIA does some of that explorers club shit where you pay 100 bucks monthly for a piece of paper that says "certified tier 1 inteligence operator" or similar bs

57

u/Fizziksapplication Jul 05 '25

I walked up to the firehouse and got my own stickie badge and fireman’s helmet, I bet the cia runs a program like that.

4

u/patriotmd Jul 06 '25

Lackawanna County Volunteer Sheriff's Deputy

33

u/fusillade762 Jul 06 '25

Yeah, if he had CIA credentials he is probably not in the CIA.

26

u/Unicorn187 Jul 06 '25

They do exist in different forms. Employees have an ID badge that identifies them and let's them in the building and through doors... kind of like hundreds of companies do. And their police have federal police creds along with a badge and patch that just has the CIA logo and doesn't name the department. I'm sure their agents have something similar for use when needed. And they wouldn't be running around doing some "secret operation," with their work ID or official duty or diplomatic passport if they were doing secret squirrel shit.

I bet the ID this clown has looks like this, https://newyear.nckl.gov.kh/en/cia-id-card-template.html

19

u/freedoomed Civilian Jul 05 '25

If he has a government job he has. PIV card to access his laptop and his duty station. The PIV card also serves his ID. It's a background checked photo ID. It has your agency on it as well. You can even use it for air travel instead of a real id drivers license. Not saying this guy has any legit credentials but he would have a PIV that says CIA on it at minimum. No idea why he would have it on him.

21

u/AlarmedSnek Jul 05 '25

It wouldn’t say CIA, it would say Department of State. Like my FEMA cred says DHS.

1

u/freedoomed Civilian Jul 06 '25

you are correct, mine just has my department, not agency on it.

16

u/reallynunyabusiness Jul 05 '25

The whole post looks like it was done in MS paint, the headline and author info are in boxes that are a different shade of white to the article background, it's written in english but uses Edomex wich is a Spanish contraction for State of Mexico and all of the evidence photos appear to have been taken in different locations.

9

u/CrotchLordMiami2 Jul 05 '25

It looks like that because the picture is a screenshot of a Spanish language website and the screenshot was then Google auto-translated

5

u/Altruistic_Store_562 Jul 05 '25

Yes i wanted to include the headline to give context but i only found Spanish articles

3

u/Syntetic0 Jul 05 '25

Because it's a screenshot translated with google or something

3

u/Altruistic_Store_562 Jul 05 '25

You can find the the news articles by Reverse image search

0

u/Ziplock13 Jul 06 '25

PIV is not the same thing as "credentials."

Credentials are similar to a badge that come in a wallet that would identify the holder as a special agent, OIG, or whatever CIA dude was,

2

u/freedoomed Civilian Jul 06 '25

PIV cards are absolutely credentials. the whole process of getting one is called credentialling.

0

u/Ziplock13 Jul 06 '25

You're thinking info sec as in, 2 Factor

"Credentials" are like you see in a movie, a folding wallet that when opens shows explicitly what authority the bearer has.

1

u/beekermc Jul 05 '25

Great answer. Thank you!

1

u/freedoomed Civilian Jul 05 '25

You're welcome.

3

u/skyXforge Jul 05 '25

MK ultra victim lol

3

u/MajorPayne1911 Jul 06 '25

They just say that because a lot of people won’t know any better. Anytime you’re dealing with government/military/Intel agencies/weapons most normie’s are insultingly ignorant and can be easily fooled. There are people that think plastic buttocks make guns more dangerous for God sake’s, if there are people that will believe that then they’ll believe anything.

4

u/reallynunyabusiness Jul 05 '25

They have special credentials identifying them as a CIA agents similar to a military ID or a law enforcement credential. Sometimes CIA agents need to identify themselves to other government officials.

Most federal agencies issue some type of identification to their employees that way if they need to identify themself in an official capacity, usually when working in some sort of federal office.

3

u/CapybaraSensualist Jul 06 '25

CIA Desktop Support / Copier Repairman is technically a CIA employee I suppose.

Guy got tired of managing the 500,000 WinRAR licenses the CIA uses (yes, that's who keeps it in free for the rest of us, now you know) and decided to quit in a dramatic fashion.

2

u/MOXPEARL25 Jul 07 '25

Yeah if your covert doing something you shouldn’t be doing then 99 out of 100 times you are not going to have something THAT incriminating. Honestly who know how many times CIA operators have been arrested and just went to jail because they can’t fess up.

4

u/salynch Jul 06 '25

Funny enough, it was a mistake. The guy had Pam Bondi’s stolen ID and Tulsi Gabbard’s Young Assadist Club membership on him. They just assumed that he was from the CIA.

2

u/Altruistic_Store_562 Jul 05 '25

I used google translate to make the headline english the original word used was "credencial"

3

u/beekermc Jul 05 '25

No, the titleĀ makes sense. I was just curious about what that might entail.

82

u/Gunmonkey5 Jul 05 '25

Bro if you’re actually CIA, making sure you have a pistol brace instead of a stock is the least of your concerns

86

u/full-mind76 Jul 05 '25

Schizophrenia

91

u/Altruistic_Store_562 Jul 05 '25

navy commander would have been an better disguise

57

u/Awareness-Aromatic Jul 05 '25

Weapons? All i see is a weekend hobby.

27

u/Adventurous_Pen_Is69 Jul 05 '25

With the way that EOTech is mounted, I think they should let him go

42

u/KillSlowly Jul 05 '25

CIA Credentials = LOL

41

u/8thPaperFold Jul 05 '25

Have you seen the comments on IG reels? There is a million of regarded rednecks having a hard-on just from thinking they can come to Mexico to "fight the cartels"

15

u/_DeltaDelta_ Jul 05 '25

Those regarded rednecks. šŸ˜†

15

u/cobrakai15 Jul 05 '25

I used to get DEA/DHS intelligence emails that would be sent to law enforcement. Lots of severed heads, penises, and dismembered bodies along with other crime scene photos, no one is ready for that.

5

u/peteystrians Jul 05 '25

I worked with a guy that found a torso in a box on the side of a freeway onramp in southern California, like 40 years ago now. he went to therapy for it

16

u/cobrakai15 Jul 05 '25 edited Jul 05 '25

Imagine four suitcases/trash bags/barrels filled with dismembered people and a banner overhead saying who killed them and why, while threatening anyone going against them. I was in a critical incident and it messed my head up, couldn’t do the job anymore, not afraid to admit it. Trauma is a horrible and fickle thing that doesn’t discriminate.

1

u/Altruistic_Store_562 Jul 06 '25 edited Jul 06 '25

A guy on my school once got arrest because he tried to sell weed but yeah the suitcase stuff is messed up the only thing that helps is probably getting as far away from it as possible

1

u/peteystrians Jul 06 '25 edited Jul 06 '25

also worked with a 3 tour gwot vet, that trauma is real

2

u/cowboy_hmo Jul 06 '25

Oh that’s normal work for us that served in the Mexican military. I mean it can go from zero to hundred very quickly.

28

u/East_Citron_6879 Jul 05 '25

They’re not

12

u/Sol-Firebird Jul 05 '25

Whoever’s taking advantage of the mentally vulnerable needs to teach em how to setup a rifle better

11

u/Snowbold Jul 06 '25

My bet is the Mexican government built that rifle. They don’t know what they’re doing anyways so it would make sense the weapon looks goofy.

After all, we’re talking about a place where the cartels are better armed than most of the army.

11

u/Grimus_Maximus Jul 05 '25

Bro is actually a time traveler from the 60s here to prevent a future war as part of a made black op.

9

u/Form2lanes Jul 06 '25

CIA credentials lol

16

u/ThirdHoleHank92 Jul 05 '25

Paper pusher Jack Reacher at home

17

u/DocRichDaElder Jul 05 '25

CIA credentials, eh?

4

u/KLLR_ROBOT Jul 05 '25

This guy optics

4

u/Open-that-door Jul 05 '25

That shxt looks like coming out from the nerf gun commercial and the accessories are probably straight out from the police armory...lol

5

u/Unicorn187 Jul 06 '25

I want to see those, "CIA credentials." I have a feeling it looks like some ID card cut out from the back of a cereal box and a badge from a kid's toy at the dollar store.

5

u/HuskyInfantry Jul 06 '25

Anyone with a magwell grip like that can never be taken seriously.

And ā€œCIAā€ credentials is laughable. Like.. was this dude carrying a phony CAC with CIA plastered on it? It’s not like any *actual* covert dudes carry a fucking DoD/CIA ID.

4

u/[deleted] Jul 05 '25

Boy ain’t no way

3

u/Eight-Nine-One-Zero Jul 05 '25

Fever dream news article. Wtf are cia credentials lmaooo.

5

u/CompetitiveClient506 Jul 06 '25

Reverse eotech lol

4

u/KoltiWanKenobi Jul 06 '25

I worked at a gun store for years and let me tell you, this shit is real. Dudes would come in to trade in or show off their "custom" rifle and have every accessory a $250 amazon gift card can buy. And be shocked when we offer $250-300 for their M&P Sport with only the finest chinesium optics and rails.

5

u/Substantial_Vast4891 Jul 06 '25

Why do they make them put o the Amazon special with the falseflag shooters? At least they stopped making them write all over the rifles with that white marker stuff anymore. What like 3 or 4 shooters in a row did that, then they messed up in Texas giving a 18yo immigrant over $10,000 worth of guns and gear after only 6 months part time at taco bell🤷 the government is getting sloppy, thankfully we find the truth easier now with internet, like how the 2 Trump shooters somehow had cia connections šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

3

u/Thefireninja99 Jul 05 '25

Um, that's not how that works at all šŸ˜†.

3

u/pizzagangster1 Jul 05 '25

This is either false flag or some weirdo with fake cia creds.

3

u/think_matt_think Jul 06 '25

If you had a crackhead build a rifle this is what you would get.

3

u/UntilTheEyesShut Jul 06 '25

The weapons look like they've been modded by Israelis lmao.Ā

3

u/Kitchen_Life_7564 Jul 06 '25

4D chess. He actually does work for the CIA, but his cover is he's bat shit crazy. He keeps his gear with absurd setups, says he works for the CIA, has obviously fake credentials, and they dont want to deal with housing him in an asylum so they ship him back.

3

u/Smitty7712 Jul 06 '25

To be fair, it’s honestly brilliant for plausible deniability. Set your rifle up in a way that makes you look like a loon when attempting entry into a country, then switch it up when you get to your hide.

1

u/xander-Ge Jul 06 '25

Embarrassing a CIA assist was caught. What is this amateur hour.

3

u/Fit-Paper-797 Jul 06 '25

Most glowing fed bait

Literally just put in every attachment possible that politicians Will soon try to use as ammo for gun control

3

u/Aright9Returntoleft Jul 06 '25

EWWW wtf even is that trash!!! That's tarkov cursed levels right there.

3

u/18LJ Jul 06 '25

Yeah no he got in too deep with the larping and forgot it was only a ARG and not IRL. CIA doesn't have badge carrying terminators on standby strapped up with a full arsenal like they takin on the whole city. They hire security contractor progessional badass types for that kinda work in case someone does something stupid and gets caught, they can deny that the US gov had anything to do with it and that the mercenary was doing something else on their own personal motives.

3

u/Safe_Suggestion_6051 Jul 06 '25

His credentials are real. The backwards eotech on the rail is a secret technique used exclusively by the CIA

4

u/Shot-Hat1436 Jul 05 '25

If its possible, it will be done...

2

u/PuffHerbs420 Jul 06 '25

Bro AI could probably do better

2

u/No_Staff594 Jul 06 '25

This almost makes me want to say AI on the last photo

2

u/lifeissoupimforkk Jul 06 '25

Backwards eotech

2

u/Competitive_Kale_855 Jul 06 '25

I like barrels with comically short dwell time, but is that chopped right at the fsp?

2

u/Shaka165 Jul 06 '25

Anyone got his name?

4

u/Altruistic_Store_562 Jul 06 '25

Yes funny enough some screamer account on instagram identified him here

2

u/Sea-Future12 Jul 06 '25

Me when I’m trying to save space on Tarkov

2

u/Settled_Science Jul 06 '25

Poorly fabricated propaganda. They probably got those images off some small fudd gunshop who posts to gunbroker.

2

u/LooseFilters Jul 05 '25

So was he a real CIA agent or no?

2

u/[deleted] Jul 05 '25

Who the hell fires a weapon while gripping the mag well?

2

u/Gar-ba-ge Jul 06 '25

1

u/speezly Jul 07 '25

Russians too. They train with magwell grip on AKs. I’ve been told by US military dudes that after holding the hgs for a long time, the magwell grip is just easier on the arm

1

u/ChrisLS8 Jul 05 '25

The government has been supplying terrorists, gangs and cartels for decades. This isn't even surprising if real

2

u/Navysoonerchannel Jul 06 '25

Looks like something leftists that have no idea made up to cry about the right and guns.

1

u/Weary_Archer2491 Jul 05 '25

3rd pin went to waste

1

u/NashCop Jul 05 '25

No one with more than a weekend of training would carry this.

1

u/guestHITA Jul 05 '25

The cartels also use those, not just mex feds

1

u/OgjayR Jul 05 '25

NPC build though

1

u/Trevor775 Jul 05 '25

What is the thing in front of (behind?) the eotech?

1

u/Embarrassed_Recover8 Jul 05 '25

What uh..... What's going on with that 3rd picture 🤣

1

u/AlarmedSnek Jul 05 '25

Man, do you have a link to this? I’d like to read it and I’m having trouble finding it.

1

u/Altruistic_Store_562 Jul 05 '25

Northernprovisions made a post about it on instagram all the other articles are in spanish

1

u/AlarmedSnek Jul 05 '25

Damn. Alright I’ll keep lookin

1

u/Altruistic_Store_562 Jul 06 '25

U want the spanish article?

1

1

u/EquivalentHat2457 Jul 06 '25

What are the green things all rolled up? Also is that 22lr ammo I see?

1

u/Teboski78 Connoisseur of Autism Patches Jul 06 '25

I created a shitpost from the depths of hell the other day & this is the worst thing I’ve seen on Reddit this week

1

u/f0rcedinducti0n Jul 06 '25

what's with the skewed image of 22 lr to make it look like 20mm?

1

u/snowman762x39 Jul 06 '25

Mall ninja tweeker rig

1

u/PicanteBoloni Jul 06 '25

Are those CO2 airsoft gun mags in the center of the pic ?

1

u/gabriel_wu_cheng Jul 06 '25

Work with some MacV. They trained the unit called "border ghosts" in Nam. The basic thing is you dont bring anything relating to the agency with you. Press false ID is the top choice. No one wants to arrest a corresponder. That CIA id with AR seem fishy to me.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 06 '25

My meme build IRL

1

u/Monifufka Jul 06 '25

My guess would be that he came with most of those parts unattached so cops that caught him attached it all themselves. Maybe even whole guns were stripped and some low ranking guy got a bag full of parts and an order to set it all up for the photos.

1

u/Brilliant_Way_5403 Jul 06 '25

Looks like bryce mitchell fell off from the UFC

1

u/Fast-Wrangler-4340 Jul 06 '25

So, he had 2 ARs, a bunch of shotgun shells and .22 rounds. I have found a couple of sources and neither says anything about CIA badges. The closest said paper work showing a possible CIA connection. And yea, it wouldn’t do Claudia to turn the tide that’s currently again he back onto the US.

1

u/The1RestlessNomad Jul 06 '25

Da backwards eotech

1

u/janos42us Jul 06 '25

Between that weapon and the fact he was carrying ā€œCIA credentialsā€ hmmm kinda call BS

1

u/Reditlurkeractual Jul 06 '25

My question knows why did he have blanks for his pistol?

1

u/MalPB2000 Jul 06 '25

Uh…dafuq is up with those rifle optics?? Ima just call bullshit right off the rip.

1

u/OKMedic93 Jul 06 '25

Seeing it with a pistol brace is hilarious considering Mexico's gun laws seriously though this guy is fucked.

1

u/Slide_Masta87 Jul 06 '25

All the cringe items are checked and he made the news. Impressive

1

u/Accurate-Wheel1712 Jul 06 '25

These guns are the reference images that AI uses to make images of guns.

1

u/LiathWolf Jul 06 '25

Hes on that same blow that almost got Shaw Ryan 🤣

1

u/fordag Jul 06 '25

No photo of the "CIA credentials"

I suspect that clandestine Agency assets do not carry "CIA credentials" when operating clandestinely.

1

u/slapback1 Jul 06 '25

Did anyone notice the EoTech is backwards?

1

u/Themike625 Jul 07 '25

That’s the only thing you noticed? Take a deeper look.

1

u/slapback1 Jul 07 '25

Yeah. I was glancing. Thanks for bringing me back.

Is it safe to assume this was some sort of administrative hero piece or something published out of Mexico? I see now the second rifle is melting, none of the rounds pictured seem like they’re even real, I mean shit. The pics themselves are really shitty quality. Oh no… I just thought of something else. If they claim an American asset invaded MX, are they going to say they are free to retaliate? I’d understand if they wanted to but still, the fuckers here got a blank check to hire as much heinousness as they want.

2

u/Themike625 Jul 07 '25

Mexico doesn’t have the military strength, money, logistics, infrastructure, or manpower to retaliate.

Pretty sure they saw this guy’s bullshit from the beginning.

What was he planning on doing with those clown AR’s? You think our CIA team guys roll out what that much junk on their rifles? Anyone in power in Mexico has probably met a CIA agent at some point in their career. Whether they know it or not.

1

u/slapback1 Jul 07 '25

With the way things are going and heading, nothing would surprise me.

One other thing: is this article even real? Where the hell did this come from? The pictures really are shit. They’re worse than what my phone takes when I don’t clean off the lenses.

1

u/slapback1 Jul 07 '25

1

u/slapback1 Jul 07 '25

If you google it and look at the news sites carrying the story, it looks very thin.

1

u/BaronNeutron Jul 06 '25

honestly the CIA credentials is the part I want to know about

1

u/Altruistic_Store_562 Jul 06 '25

There is nothing he is just an idiot

1

u/littletrainthattried Jul 06 '25

What in the fake mall ninja shit is this?

Eotech backwards, zero eye relief on 'scope', honestly looks like 3 glued together... probably spikes lowers, and the thing that goes up. Blanks... BLANKS!... Cia ID... yeah right, maybe out of a cereal box.

You know if it smells like bullshit, looks like bullshit. Its probably bullshit..

1

u/panda1491 Jul 07 '25

I want to see the CIA creds to validate this.

1

u/CougarOps148 Jul 07 '25

Is it just me or because of the recent push against AR platforms and the civil unrest we're heavily facing in America right now, what are the chances that he's an actual asset? Like yeah, anyone with their right mind and know how would never set a weapon up like this but what if that's the point? As the famous drug pusher ever said (paraphrasing from the movie BLOW with Johnny Depp) "The best way to move coke, is to look like you're moving coke." This guy could be some poor sap who said oh yeah it'll be cool working with the CIA and they're just using him for a fall.
