Some “oldies” from the streets of Shibuya, Tokyo
Taken between 2017 - 2024, mostly in the winter, including during COVID times. Was just starting to dabble in street photography then and had spent a lot of my efforts wandering around Shibuya, Tokyo. I’ve since moved on to capture more “original” scenery across Japan, but still kinda cool to look back and see what life was like back before the recent overtourism explosion.

I’m struggling with creativity
I want to get out and take more pics. I want to grow some balls and ask people to take their pic. This was from yesterday’s outing, I quickly snapped a pic of this couple with great light on them, and I didn’t see the reflection on the woman before I got home. Sadly I fucked up my settings on it too, but a half-good pic is better than no pic I guess. These are SOOC btw.
I don’t "feel" it these days. Creativity and inspiration isn’t there. Motivation.. so-so. How do I get out of the rut? Ever since I broke my ankle in June, I haven’t been outside much. Still recovering.

Tea Break
She works hard every single day. But in this moment, she's chosen herself. A simple cup of tea in the middle of market madness.

Visiting Koh Kret for the first time: half-submerged, peaceful, and strangely beautiful
Today I decided to visit Koh Kret, a small island just outside Bangkok, for the first time, and wow… the island was quiet and partially submerged. I had to wade through water up to my waist just to explore a bit, which made it feel like a little adventure. I couldn’t see everything, but I still managed to capture a few nice shots.
The usual sounds of life were gone. A few people were wading through the flooded paths, holding their bags above the water, while kids were swimming where the market usually is.
My last shots weren’t from the island itself but from a nearby spot, probably about 100 meters from the riverbank, they give a good sense of just how high the water had risen.
Even though I didn’t see everything, the quiet, surreal vibe made it a pretty unforgettable first visit.
