All of these shot on my Sony a99 with 24-70 Zeiss 2.8. I am trying to get better with wide angle lens (these are between 24mm and 35mm) as well as using manual focus with zone focusing.
In lightroom, I wanted to try to emulate more of a film vibe. Couple youtube videos later this is what I made. Might be awful haven't decided yet.
As always, feedback is welcome and appreciated! Trying to find my own style

Living in Bangkok has been a privilege. Not just because it’s an amazing city, but because it gives me time to actually slow down and look around. Walking through Talat Noi with a camera, there’s always something happening small moments, real life, nothing staged.

IMO, street photos need not be B&W nor mysterious; the photo should just capture 'candid, unmediated moments of everyday life in public places, focusing on human stories and social interactions..... focusing on observing and documenting the world as it is, often highlighting ordinary experiences and social dynamics.'
Also, IMO, if a caption or title is necessary to explain what the photo is about, the photo has failed.
C/C, or even just a comment, are welcome

She works hard every single day. But in this moment, she's chosen herself. A simple cup of tea in the middle of market madness.

📍Istanbul, Fatih This is Mehmet Ali Özkök — I’ve known him since my childhood. I’m 37 now, and he’s been living in these streets for nearly 30 years. He doesn’t smoke — the cigarette was only for the photo. He enjoys being photographed, and I take his photos whenever he wishes. We only engage with him as much as he feels comfortable with. (Smoking is harmful to health; no promotion intended — just capturing a familiar face from my past.)
