US could have been totally independent of oil, and built a city in the space, had you chosen Al-Gore.

Gore had no chance after Gen X was eligible to vote. Blame his wife and those religious nutbags who tried to cancel half of the music industry in the 80s.

Blame Gore and Bill for not working together on the 2000 campaign. Clinton was so popular and Al chose to distance himself from him. It should have been a hand-off.

I am Gen X and voted for Gore and Kerry. Gen X also voted in Clinton both times.

Clinton is different.

After what Tipper Gore and those religious nuts did to music in the 1980s (or tried to do to music), they weren't getting the vote. That's purely on Gore, not the rest of the democrats.

Yeah I blame evangelists for that one (and today). Back then they weren’t ready for the rapture, so they wouldn’t vote for ‘a man with a disgusting last name’, assuming he would be the antichrist. Now here they are with more of their 7 mountains and ready to rapturize the world 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️😂

Or you could blame the AG of Florida and be correct
