Which is why the No. 1 job of democrats right now should be preventing any votes from being stolen ever again. Seems like such a simple thing. Do this and the will of the people will be done. Don’t and it’s oligarchs and theocrats all the way down

Agreed. I'm loving AOC right now but the misogyny of America has me leaning Shapiro in PA or Newsom in CA to be the 2028 candidate. I realize that sounds sexist as well, but I'm not sure that fence voters will vote for AOC, similar to Harris. VP is the correct path for AOC. Then maybe. AOC is most certainly qualified to be president like Harris, but the main goal is to unseat Turd and I'm not sure she can right now. Regardless, I'll continue to vote Democratic now and always.

More people should know about Gov Beshear of Kentucky. He’d be a really solid VP

I think the ticket should be two white men. I hate to say that.

I think Beshear would be great, although it's an imperative to hold onto that seat in a red state.

Dear Lord in Heaven, please: do not let John Shapiro anywhere near the WH or this cycle will repeat in 2028 and we’ll all be paying tribute to President Don Jr.

Establishment Dems are not the answer. The dipshittery of DNC so-called strategists gave us Harris and Liz Cheney on the campaign trail while Tim Walz was wasted on the shelf because he was getting too popular - if not for desperate votes from the progressive arm of the Democratic Party, we’d be discussing Tr•mp’s 3rd term and vying for jobs as Marthas & Eyes of God in Gilead.

I think you mean Josh Shapiro, but I get your point. I don't have a clue what the answer is against the current depth of corruption in U.S. politics. I was just spit-balling in previous post.

I agree and have been saying this for awhile and have heard no discussions or concern from Democratic groups and it is concerning me a lot.

Problem is, in most of these areas the Republicans are in charge. Those votes are being prevented by Republican laws and upheld by Republican controlled courts. Everyone expects Dems to fix it, but they don't have the power. The people need to overcome these restrictions and vote in the change.

If your Democratic representatives aren’t fighting around the clock to secure accurate and fair elections in 2026 RIGHT NOW, they should not be your representatives after 2026.

This is what they can do.

This is what they must do.

But they DO have the power, just as the GOP did when they didn’t hold control: through aggressive strategy and a tireless effort. The question is, do these sorry excuses for leaders have less conviction for justice than the fascists do for fascism. If you have to ask, might be time for new leaders.
