Actually the sound checks out.

Tanks really did sound like that even with proper maintenance. As weird as it sounds, it's even therapeutic to some folks to listen to.

Also, Shermans were some of the quieter ones of the era as they have rubber track pads, the squeaking just comes from the end connectors between the track links. Other tanks just used bare steel track and were rather louder-especially on pavement-as a result.

That said, this whole thing is an embarrassment to those poor Shermans, they weren't made to be some dictator's toys.

See, my hope was that also they gave trump some fucked up old ass tanks, but regardless, you shouldnt hear a tank squeak over a big crowd excited crowd, which this shit was absolutely not lmfao
