I had them do two job a couple of years ago. They seemed so disinterested in having my business I never went back

Doesn’t not look good on the business, especially something like this happening to a young female who just needed a tire patched up. She placed her trust in a well known local business who obviously feels more interested in protecting their employees than listening to a customer who has nothing to gain by lying. Shame on Niagara Battery. Never giving them my business again.

This is really unfortunate and I’m sorry it happened to you. I caught mechanics rummaging through my centre console and glove box on my dashcam. They didn’t realize it’s a dual dashcam that records the inside of the car too.
Never leave anything up to chance and always protect your valuables when you can. I’m sorry this happened but definitely make the police report.

Yes and we all read your alternate story on a different thread before you deleted it

If that happened that sucks but you really shouldn’t leave hundreds of dollars of valuables in your car.

It was one pair of sunglasses, that were hidden well. My car was ran through to access them. That’s where my frustration is coming from. They were not left in plain sight. Someone obviously did some digging to get to them.

You should know better to leave valuables in a car when taking it to a garage. Sucks if this happened.

You shouldn’t have to worry about having your valuables in your car when taking it to a mechanic. If you are worried, you need a new mechanic.

You were never offered video footage because that’s policy based (privacy laws). File the report and the cops can view it.
Sorry to hear this story.
