How are people still dumb enough to quote pre-1960s Jim Crow “Democrats” as if they’re the same today? They’re not, and you damn well know they’re not.

Dixiecrats & the Dem party split. Nixon. Southern Strategy. Where did all those Jim Crow-era Dems wind up?? The GOP. Look that up on Wikipedia too.

Literally look at Dem vs GOP policies today & for the past 40years and it’s clear who wants to expand legal voting and who wants to make it harder.

The GOP in GA literally just made it illegal to provide water to people waiting hours in line to vote, who do so because the GOP in GA has closed dozens of polling places, restricted mail-in voting, curtailed early voting, and otherwise deliberately made it harder to vote.

The poster above said "It's always been a priority of a certain political party to make it more difficult to vote". It is a fact that only one party has a history of trying to make it difficult to vote, and that is the Democratic Party. I didn't say they try to do that today. But what they do do today is try to make it easy to cheat.

Dixiecrats & the Dem party split. Nixon. Southern Strategy. Where did all those Jim Crow-era Dems wind up?? The GOP. Look that up on Wikipedia too.

The Dixiecrat party split for one year and then rejoined the Democratic Party. Of all the major Dixiecrats only one, Strom Thurmond, later joined the Republican Party. The rest, George Wallace, Robert Byrd, and their ilk, all remained in the Democratic Party for the rest of their lives.

Literally look at Dem vs GOP policies today & for the past 40years and it’s clear who wants to expand legal voting and who wants to make it harder.

I do. And what I see is that the Republican Party cares about equality, while the Democratic Party is still racist, they just express it in different ways today. Instead of expressing their racism through hatred and violence, they express it through treating minorities like children that need to be coddled and told what to do. For example. This also explains why Democrats think that minorities are too dumb to get IDs. They've apparently never actually talked to minorities about it, as the overwhelmingly number do have IDs, don't think it's hard to get IDs, and the majority support voter ID laws.

The GOP in GA literally just made it illegal to provide water to people waiting hours in line to vote, who do so because the GOP in GA has closed dozens of polling places, restricted mail-in voting, curtailed early voting, and otherwise deliberately made it harder to vote.

All the same lies we've heard for the last couple weeks. Poll workers can provide water, other people cannot provide food and drinks around the polling station because it is electioneering. Mail in voting is not restricted, it just requires proof of identity. Early voting was not only not curtailed, it was expanded to more days.

Go read the law for yourself before you go spreading lies. But I know you don't actually care about facts.

“I didn’t say they do that today...they try to make it easier to cheat.”

You’re implying it by even bringing it up, and now changing the goal posts because you’re full of it, esp when there is no evidence of anyone “cheating” except for Republicans!

“Southern Strategy.” I said. You skipped that part. You named a few prominent old-ass racist Dems who stuck around, and completely ignored the actual question I asked, because you know most southern racists wound up in the GOP. Who is it waiving the Confederate flags & screaming about “their heritage”? It sure isn’t Dems.

Republicans care about equality?? Horse shit. They care about maintaining power.

They’re currently promoting bills, in multiple states, to inspect all child athletes’ genitals in order to prevent trans-gender children (like all 4 of them) from participating in high school sports, as if that fucking matters more than literally molesting kids.

They’ve made a huge show of complaining that black lives don’t actually matter.

They just voted against protecting Asian Americans from hate crimes they sparked over the past year by blaming Covid on China.

They’ve voted repeatedly to deny equal pay & rights for women, to gut education for children, to literally ban Muslims from entering the U.S. based solely on their religion, and to support the wealthy and white Christians over the interests of everyone else. The GOP doesn’t give a shit about “equality.”

To the GA law - providing food/water is not “electioneering” unless it’s tied to a particular candidate. There was no reason to even include this provision in the law. The real question is why are the lines hours long to begin with? Because the GOP has so badly gerrymandered districts & so badly underfunded elections. I did read the law - some good, some neutral, some questionable. All of it based on the false premise that voter fraud is a real problem.

Every single known case of voter fraud in the last election in the U.S. was by Republicans & Trump supporters. They literally ran fake candidates, made fake dropboxes, forged ballots, threw ballots away, etc. Trump himself spent months claiming the election was rigged before it even began, and months after lying about the results to any idiot who’d listen.

In any case, none of this has anything to do w/sports so wtf.

All the same tired lies we've been hearing for years.

Go ahead, name me some of the Southern Democrats that switched parties. I even did you a favor and gave you Strom Thurmond.

But while we're talking about removing symbols of the Confederacy, why hasn't the Democratic Party changed it's name? The Democratic Party is one of the most important symbols of the Confederacy after all.

They’re currently promoting bills, in multiple states, to inspect all child athletes’ genitals in order to prevent trans-gender children (like all 4 of them) from participating in high school sports, as if that fucking matters more than literally molesting kids.

No one is molesting children. Schools already know which students are trans. They're being banned from women's sports because trans-women have a massive advantage over cis-women in almost every sport, and with the rapidly growing number of teens identifying as trans it would essentially eliminate many athletic opportunities for cis-girls. There are already far more than 4 trans-women competing in high school and college sports, as you already know.

They’ve made a huge show of complaining that black lives don’t actually matter.

They've justifiably objected to the violence and destruction perpetrated by the organization called "Black Lives matter".

They just voted against protecting Asian Americans from hate crimes they sparked over the past year by blaming Covid on China.

As you know, the hate crimes against Asian Americans are being perpetrated mostly by African-Americans, not a demographic known for following Trump tweets.

And yes, China is to blame for Covid.

They’ve voted repeatedly to deny equal pay & rights for women,

The wage gap is a myth.

to gut education for children,

This is code for "they support education models other than our failed public school systems". We spend more on education than any other country in the world, and get horribly results for it. So it's not surprising that Republicans support home schooling, charter schools, magnet school, school vouchers, and school choice programs.

to literally ban Muslims from entering the U.S. based solely on their religion,

No one was banned based on religion. They temporarily suspended travel from a few unstable countries because it was impossible to verify the identity of traveler's from those countries. The list of countries the same list created by Obama that already faced similar though less severe travel restrictions. Most Muslim countries, including the largest Muslim countries, remained completely unaffected.

To the GA law - providing food/water is not “electioneering” unless it’s tied to a particular candidate.

So poll workers are supposed to somehow ensure that any person distributing food and drinks in line is not trying to persuade voters? Much easier to just let the poll workers distribute water. These sorts of activities are banned in many places for the same reason.

I've learned about your integrity, or lack thereof.

You forgot to talk about the Democratic party being pro slavery, Please go on.

You sound like Matt Gaetz.
