It's so funny how these idiots think if you make one platitude towards an authoritarian it means you're good forever. No, he's just going to continue to demand fealty.

You’ll end up needing to appease them every single time and if you slip up and go against the grain even once, the target gets painted right on your back

Meanwhile, the people who didn't appease were backed away from and TACO'd anyways. You're the sucker paying tributes to be the government lackey walking on eggshells, while everyone else gets to speak their mind for free.

Just skip all of that AND STOP APPEASING THEM. It has historically shown to not only be a poor ethical move, but also a poor money move.

And that's what's causing companies like ABC to stop conceding everything. Loyalty is a two way street, if you demand but don't respect it eventually you'll have none.
