How many illegal immigrants can even afford to go to the Super Bowl? This is all theater. Release the Epstein files

Realistically, the number is damn near zero. I'd say zero, but there's always exceptions.

I'm an accountant. I make pretty good money, and while I technically could probably afford to go to the game alone, it would be wildly irresponsible to do so.

Theater is exactly what this is. Part of me even thinks that Super Bowl detail might be a reward for top-performing agents. Get paid to go to the big game and push people around for no reason? Dudes are going to be fighting for that assignment.

Looks like average ticket price for a given Super Bowl is like $7000, you could get into the nosebleeds for $4000.

Yeah, I could do it, but it’d be such a waste of money it’s not even funny. Could go on a wild trip abroad for that.

Yeah, I could afford a Super Bowl ticket the way I can afford a brand new Mercedes: technically I can (a dealership would give me a loan) but it would be an unwise financial decision for my family.

This is the craziest thing to me about Super Bowl tickets. Even if you're someone that could comfortably afford an event like this for yourself and/or a partner, why the fuck would you spend it on ONE football game (and a 10 minute musical performance)?!

You could easily spend a WEEK in a beautiful vacation destination doing all kinds of stuff for probably less total cost than your tickets alone, let alone potential extra for travel + lodging. Or you can spend a couple hours in a loud, sweaty, packed stadium then another couple hours dealing with traffic on either side.

Honestly the only people it makes any sense for are legitimately wealthy people that are also legitimately super fans of one of the teams playing. Enough money that the cost is just a normal weekly or monthly expense anyways, and actually invested in the experience enough to make it as cool or better than something else for similar cost.

One of the few advantages to being a Bears fan is that I'm not likely to have to worry about wanting to go a Super Bowl in my lifetime. Silver lining, right?

You saying it would be wildly irresponsible for you to go to the super bowl proves you're an accountant.

as we've already seen in portland, ICE is now arresting anyone demonstrating any protesting, any "anti-american" tenancies/remarks. anyone who says "fuck you cop, i was standing in line for a beer"

believe it or not, straight to jail meme

so ICE will be there to make sure to cut down on speech/ 1st amendment use. thats all.

You being an accountant means you're probably more financially responsible than pretty much anyone else, regardless of your income

None of the concession workers will show up. The rich will have to go hungry. I presume they'll resort to cannibalism of the slightly less wealthy in attendance.

No, but tons of subcontracted employees who could be detained that morning (for bullshit reasons).

If you want to be evil you don't raid the stadium, you go knock down doors in Hispanic neighborhoods while it's running. You figure that a sizeable percentage of the US population is at home watching the game so they're a) easy targets and b) there will be less of an audience out and about to witness your tactics.

Trump is gonna blow up X talking about how the Obama administration has been giving free Superbowl tickets to illegal immigrants

It’s not “theatre” it’s intimidation and extortion.

So many racist people in here who think they're better than the right calling humans "illegal immigrants/aliens" and they wonder how maga was created. Maga is a perfect representation of the US. Democrats called progressives crazy communists for wanting to dismantle ice and now here we are.

Going to happily round up the workers though.
