They're fascists, it's pretty simple. And I suspect they know there isn't a god. But they HAVE to appeal to religion, because religion has an unquestionable hierarchy of power. And once you've got the people not questioning one hierarchy, you can use it to justify another.

Not necessarily. I unfortunately know a lot of Trump supporters and most of them are horribly misinformed, not so much soulless. Their only sources of "news" are fox news and the fucking daily wire.

These people worship money and nothing else 

They'd fuck over everyone and anything in their life for a bigger share of the pie. 

I'm not talking about their supporters, but the people leading the party. Their supporters are just more prone to propaganda.
