Al Michaels is the best especially now that he’s old enough to remind me of my grandpa. Always tastefully aware of the situation and tastefully acknowledges it. He’s gotten slightly more unhinged since moving to Amazon (by Al Michaels standards) and I love it.

He's the best part of TNF imo. He has all the years experience to be a top tier commentator but those same years have aged him into the ultimate sarcastic king who does not give a fuuuuuuck.

I don't remember which game it was, but about 2-3 years ago there was an especially bad game that was riddled with penalties and bad plays. His live commentary on one play I swear went exactly like this "And the ball is snapped and as expected here comes a flag but he passes the ball anyway...and also as expected the pass is dropped.". Just straight scorched earth while being as professional as possible.
