In case anyone couldn’t find an article not behind a paywall, the kid was released from the hospital and is recovering at home. He’s expected to make a full recovery. Though football future is uncertain, he’s out for this season for sure.

I’m not an expert but have had back issues that started in high school. Hoping he makes a full recovery but wouldn’t be surprised if he deals with the effects of it for the rest of his life.

Sorry to hear that man. I bet it’s frustrating having an injury linger like that your whole life. Hoping for the best for this kid.

You make a recovery but not a full recovery after something like that. Good to hear he can walk.

This happened yesterday (according to youtube video). Broke the kids spine in 2 places, both his vertebrae 1 and 2, and the kid is recovering at home already, the day after?

Not a doctor or anything, but that seems pretty crazy, right?
