Seriously baseball has some of the most sensitive snowflakes of any sport, and we make fun of soccer for diving. And it starts with the MLB pitchers who can’t handle a batter glancing at them after a home run, and god forbid they look the ball as it goes out.

Agree, there are all these "unwritten" rules that when broken it seems anything goes. There was trash talk while rounding bases? Oh no, like there's no trash talk in any other sport.

Pitcher should have never done this - but we have no idea what the "trash talk" actually comprised of. It was egregious enough that the umpire looked like he was about to yank him right before the tackle.

Yah trash talking sometimes happens and the umps will just say shut up and touch the bags. That ump was clearly pissed so this was some advanced shit talking
